A lot of time had passed since we went back from our honeymoon in Kenya. Things between Joey and I were going swell and were perfect. We were a really happy marriage and spent a lot of time together. It was really beautiful!

Now it was valentine's day. We all had met in the central perk and when we arrived there, I went to the stage and sang a song I had created for Joey. As I sang, I could see his pretty face filled with an amazing smile. I loved seeing him smile as much as I loved him and the fact that I could make him that happy made me wonder how much we really loved each other.

After I sang the song I went back to the sofa and our friends started to give gifts to their partner. Chandler gave a velvet-coloured box to Monica and she opened, it turned out to be a beautiful neclace adorned with little diamonds. "Oh, my god! I love it!" She said and kissed him. The other presents were cufflinks from Monica to Chandler, earrings from Ross to Rachel and a tie from Rachel to Ross.

Now it was my turn to give Joey a gift. I was really worried about the embarrassment we could have in front of our friends. I had only bought a book for him! I looked at him with a scared look. "C'mon Pheebs! What's the worst thing that could happen?" He said in a really sweet tone of voice. I gave him my present and he did an amazed look. "It's IT! I love that! How did you know I liked that?" I chuckled and he kissed me. "That's for you!" He said and handed me a gift. A million of thoughts started to pass through my head. "What if it's a pen or something? Joey always does this type of presents. I opened it trying not to look a lot at it, awaiting the worst. When I saw what it was I started to cry out of happiness. It was a brand new, blue microphone for my concerts. "Do you like it?" He asked with a big smile. "Are you kidding? I love it!" I said removing the tears from my eyes. Joey removed my tears and his hand fell down my face ending up on my chin. He pulled my face slowly to his and kissed me passionately.

After a while we went to Monica's restaurant and had dinner there. As you can imagine she wasn't cooking that day, instead her supply chef was doing it. The dinner was really fancy and we ate a lot of gourmet things. However the food had to much garlic on it, like always. "How's the food?" Asked Monica brightly, "Delicious, honey!" Replied Chandler and they quickly kissed. "What about you?" She asked to everone else. "Great!" Said Ross and Rachel, "I love it!" Said Joey. I did so as I hadn't heard the question and Monica looked at me with an awaiting look.

-"Phoebe!"

- "What?" I didn't really wanted to tell her how the food was.

- "How is the food?"

- "Fine..."

-  "Are you sure?" She wanted to know what I really thought and it was killing me, because I didn't like it that much

-  "Yes..."

Everyone stared at me, hoping I wouldn't say what I really thought about it. At the same time Monica looked at me, waiting for my answer. I didn't want to lie, but I didn't want to hurt her either. I spent a lot of time reflecting about what to say. "Yes! It's delicious!" I finally said.  Monica was really happy and after a while the dessert was served. It was delicious! I couldn't taste any garlic in it! That was perfect! The rest of the dinner was great and when we left, I started to feel really happy about everything: I was with my friends and Joey, and we just had had dinner in Monica's restaurant and with a brand new microphone in my purse.

Suddenly, a silhuette woke me up of my dream. After a while I noticed that it was my biological mother. Joey and I did a surprised look, and when she felt our penetrating eyes on her she headed to me.

- "Hello Phoebe!"

- "What are you doing here mother?" I answered her, rudely

- "Phoebe, I just wanted to say sorry to you for abandoning you again!"

- "You know, this wasn't nice from you! You really hurted me!" She tried to hug me and I put her away

- "I'm sorry!"

- "Look, I will not forgive you for abandoning me two times!"

- "Please Phoebe!"

-  "Why should I?"

-  "Because I'm your mother, and I love you!"

- " If you do, why did you abandon me at first?" Suddenly Joey came and put his arm on my shoulder

"Is everything alright babe?" He whispered to my ear. "No, it's not! My biological mother is trying to apologize for abondoning me as a child and leaving me on the streets after knowing that my adoptive mother was dead and for abandoninh me again after I forgave her last time!" I screamed"My dear Phoebe, I'm so sorry for everything!" She answered, trying to win my pardon. I looked her with an angry look and she continued "Ok! You want to know why I'm here... I'm dying, and before I do I wanted to reconziliate with my beautiful daughter!"

Joey looked at her with sadness and then turned to me and said: "Pheebs, she is dying, let her be with you a little!" "In fact, I wanted to invite you to have lunch at my house on your birthday!" She said.  I was flipping out. She wanted to have lunch with me on my birthday after all the harm she had done to me. I took my hands to my head and scrolled them down my hair. "C'mon Phoebe, do it for your mother, who is dying!" I knew she was lying, but if I refused, Joey and my friends would get mad at me for letting my mother die without her last wish accomplished. "Ok! I'll be there!" I said, nonchlantly and Joey and I went back to where my friends were.

I spent the rest of the night at my house with Joey, who was proud of my decision. We watched a movie and then went to sleep, well not completely to sleep, because Joey spended the rest of the night cheering me up.
