The Beautiful Stranger

Lea's POV

"This is so stupid" I muttered in to the fridge, all I could see was green healthy stuff. My roommate Connie is a health freak, and it's horrible.

I need something eat. I pulled my black Chuck Taylor's on and an old over sized sweater I bought at the second hand store down the street. Quickly gathering my hair in to a messy bun and grabbing my car keys I headed for the front door. Connie and I had just moved here about a month ago and I'm still kind of learning where everything is. I don't usually do the grocery shopping but I feel like our fridge could use something beside greens for once.

Once I arrived at the grocery store I walk in and grabbed a basket, I plugged my earbuds in and turned on my favourite play list. I walked right past the fruit and vegetable section and headed down the breakfast isle. I ate cereal like popcorn. I grabbed a box of cinnamon toast crunch, frosted flakes and fruit loops. I also grabbed something for my lunches over the next week , oh and a couple boxes of pop tarts. I don't know how to cook that well, so I just stick to the easy stuff. I walked to the pasta isle and grabbed a couple boxes of Kraft Dinner, after that I started to walk to the ice cream isle. As I was turning a the corner, I glanced down in to my basket for a second trying to think of what else I should by, then all of the sudden I was violently knocked to the ground. It took me a minute to register what had happend, everything from my basket was spread out on the grocery store floor.

I pulled an earbud out, "Watch it" some guy muttered, while holding his hand out to help me up I grabbed it and he hauled me up.

I looked up still a little stunned by the attitude in his voice, "Sorry" I said quietly. I was surprised when I saw the clearest blue eyes glaring down at me. I bent down and started picking up my grocery's all over the ground, I looked over in his direction and watched his feet carry him away. I pick up my groceries and headed right to the check out, I couldn't help but to think about his sparkling ocean blue eyes. Most of his face was hidden by the shadow of his hood, but I could still see his well defined jawline and he hight cheek bones.

"$26.87 please" I look up, realizing that it was the lady at the cash register. I handed her my money, had I really been that distracted thinking his beautiful face? I grabbed my change out of the cashiers hand and my grocery bags, then walked to my car.

After arriving home I watched a bit of TV while eating my cereal. I checked my phone, it was almost midnight. I put my bowl in the kitchen sink, I forgot to buy ice cream didn't I? Stupid hot guy got me all distracted. I sight and walked back to the couch ti finish the show I was watching.

"Lea?" It was Jax my best friend.

"Yea" I shouted, I herd his foot steps walk to the living room where I was watching TV. He sat down beside me on the couch, casually draping his arm over my shoulders and I leaned on to him. These small actions may me casual for him but every time they still sends butterfly's to my stomach. Yes I have the biggest crush on him, and there was nothing I could do about it. If I tell him and he doesn't like me back our friendship is awkward and ruined.

A little while later he grabbed the remote of the coffee table and turned off the TV. "What was that for?" We were in the middle of a good TV show and he just shuts it off?

"I need to tell you something" he says. I didn't say anything I
just waited for him to continue, he turned his body to face me. "I need your addvice" I nodded for him to continue. "I really like this girl-"

"YOU LIKE SOMEONE AND DIDNT TELL ME" I shout at him. Jaxon Gale LIKES a someone?! "WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME? I though we were best friend?" You could say Jaxon gets around, he doesn't go looking for sex but when the opportunity approaches him he doesn't hesitate to take it.
