A chilling silence filled the most dangerous part of Korea. The Underground Paradise. That place now felt even more dangerous with every ticking of the clock. It was bad, this place is not supposed to be silent. Did the police just raid the area. No, even then it won't be this silent... Suddenly a loud laugh filled the hallways. It was a nerve-wracking tone and with every cackle came a sound of metal striking the concrete floor. 

"Did everyone ran away. I thought you wanted to play." The voice was calm but filled with humor. It felt like the dripping water in a silent cave as it echoed through the hall and came back to him causing him to laugh again. "Oh my oh my." He chuckled as he hit the metal bat repeatedly on the cemented floor. "This is so much fun. I would love to continue but I have someone waiting for me. So, better make it fast."

As the silent atmosphere grew again, the light went off. The persons who were hidings, held their breath as now their only sense of information about the surrounding were the sliding metal bat sound. They did it extremely dangerous this time. They should not have provoked him. Why the hell did the King even challenged him...

"Oh oh, are we playing hide and seek now. So, cliché." With his every word a new scream involved the surrounding and with his every step, he neared the King. "Peekaboo... I see you." The king tried to run when he felt a hand on his shoulder but he couldn't as a sharp pain hit his knees. "Now now no running ok, Lee Taemin- oops.. I mean Grandpa..."

With the last scream in the hallways, a new morning came. And with a new morning, new case. It was yet another murder this week and it was driving him crazy. "The fuck. Can't these killers just keep their knife up to themselves." The inspector shouted at the top of his lungs as he slammed the files on the table and stood up, only to receive stares from his fellow crewmates. He smiled at them apologetically as he sat down again.

"Jung Jungkook. This is serious." His head officer shouted at him as he pushed the files off the table. "And my resignation letter is too, sir." Jungkook said back with the same tone. He had enough. As long as Jungkook knew, he wanted to become a police officer. It was his dream and he did achieve his dream. But this was not his dream.

He thought that becoming a police officer, he will fight for justice but he didn't knew that he can't even talk freely without his higher permission. He thought of police as a hero but after being promoted to the rank of Inspector at the age of 22, he came to knew, this system is full of corruption. He would catch a criminal today and will have to free them the next morning why, because they were a very close people to some political leaders. This was the system.. The cruel system.

So, when it was enough, Jungkook decided to resign. He is not a dog, always wagging their tail and doing what their master says either it is good or bad. He wanted to be that lone wolf, doing what they like and how they like but this system chained him. So, now he was asking for the key. 

"Sir, please sign this letter." He said with a serious tone causing his senior to look at him with shock. He sighed. "Ok fine." His senior said as he took a pen and looked at the resignation paper. "Jungkook I want you to think about it once more. You are the most sincere officer-" "Sir, Please." Jungkook said now, no more respect or seriousness in his voice, he was straight up threatening him. The senior sighed and did what Jungkook said. From today onwards Jungkook was no longer the chained dog, he was a lone wolf...

Jungkook smiled to himself as he paced back and forth on the airport. He did what his hyungs have told him to do. Follow his heart. And now that he did, he really felt at ease. So after burning his police uniform, in front of the police station, he came straight to the airport to pick up his hyungs.. It really felt good..
