"Katara," Jet touched her arm to catch her attention in the hall as she was heading to her locker.
"Heard boy toy was back, what made you convince him to show up again?" He smirked at her as Katara rolled her eyes.
"He was on vacation with his uncle," Katara crossed her arms as she grabbed her lock to get in.
"Your so dramatic," she scoffed shaking her head.
"Well he's not my favorite person, I like assuming the worst," Jet winked leaning his arm above her as she opened her locker.
"Good for you, I'm really proud, here's a sticker," Katara gasped and put the sticker from her Starbucks cup on his chest.
"You're mad at me," he pointed out as Katara groaned grabbing her bag.
"Your not my favorite person," she didn't bother looking at him.
"I just wanted to talk about the other day.. I was genuine when I said I liked you, I really want to take you out," Jet looked at her gently and Katara paused.
"Why?" She put her hands on her hips raising a brow.
"Why do you like me? What is it that really sends a tingle down your spine?" Katara threw on a fake smile.
"Your witty," he smirked back.
"I'm sarcastic and have an older brother, it's not flirting," she waved him off and start putting her notebooks and folders in her bag to go home.
"No it's not just that, your cute, and pretty, and have a good heart, I really like everything about you katara," Jet knelt down to her and helped but she glared unamused.
"Fine, my answer is no, I'm not interested," she grabbed the book from him and shoved it in her bag.
"Your still mad, I get it," Jet put his hands up getting back up.
"No, I don't see you in a romantic way Jet, I'm being honest," she sighed getting up as well.
"One date," he beamed.
"No Jet," Katara growled.
"You owe me one," Jet grew irritated.
"I don't owe You shit," she snapped back.
"That was the deal," he grabbed her arm.
"So much for genuine, no," Katara smacked his hand. She looked around seeing if any of her friends were around, she smiled brightly behind Jet.
"Hey aang!" Katara called waving and Jet frowned.
"Hey Katara," the boy skipped over with a bright smile.
"So are you coming over tonight? It's just a small dinner again for our friends," Katara smiled but glanced at jet with a warning in her eyes.
"Uh yea, I'm bringing appa if that's okay," Aang giggled a little and she nodded walking with her friend as she closed her locker and left Jet.
"Also Jet, do what you want, my answer is still no," Katara looked over her shoulder at him.

Why didn't you come back yesterday?" Azula pushed Zuko harshly in the hall as he stumbled by surprise.
"I was busy," Zuko glared at her.
"Dads fucking pissed," she hissed.
"He doesn't actually like me you know..?" Zuko blinked confused. "He literally told me he wishes I wasn't born, why does he want me home?"
"We had a job yesterday dipshit," Azula spat and his heart dropped.
"It's one job, I'll just do an extra one," he sighed crossing his arms.
"Azula I haven't been to school or talked to anyone outside of work for two weeks, we're not his slaves," Zuko looked at her calmly and she scoffed.
"You really are fucking worthless, just don't miss tonight or he's going to hunt you down," Azula told in irritated and he shrugged.
"What would he do.. if I didn't want the job anymore?" He asked softly and her eyes widen.
"He'd put you down like a dog," she spat.
"We're kids Azula, we shouldn't be working in a gang," Zuko pulled her close so no one else heard.
"It's just business, don't be so sensitive," she looked up at him glaring.
"Azula we literally could be forced to be killers with this business, your a child," he snarled in her face.
"Dont be his pawn," Zuko let go of her harshly.
"And where would you go? He bought you from uncle," Azula crossed her arms and he pursed his lips.
"I don't need anyone's fucking help," he narrowed his eyes.
"Whatever, don't miss tonight," Azula flipped him off and walked away as Katara and Aang walked over.
"What was that?" Aang made a face.
"Nothing important," Zuko rolled his eyes as Katara nudged him with her elbow.
Ever since the night they.. snuggled.. Katara made sure she'd give Zuko little touches throughout the day, either head pats, or elbowing him constantly, he didn't seem annoyed yet, he even pushed her earlier that made her seem like progress.
"I'll see you guys later, I gotta go to work," Zuko shrugged a little as he shoved his hands on his pockets.
"Have fun! See you later katara!" Aang waved but Katara chased after him.
"As in work you mean...?" Katara asked as she had troubles keeping up with him.
"Yea, I'm working," Zuko reached into his pocket to grab his cigarettes as they went outside.
"No your not going," she grabbed his cigarette from his lips before he lit it.
"I have too, but I'm going to talk to him about getting out," he grabbed it back and lifted it and his pack with the lighter above his head. She jumped a little to grab it but he lifted them higher with a smile.
"Your not funny," she crossed her arms and he chuckled.
"I got my bike back today, want a ride?" Zuko asked lighting the cigarette and inhaled.
"Can we go get Starbucks?" Katara pouted.
"Sure, my treat," he nodded walking down the stairs to the parking lot. She threw away her empty Starbucks drink so he didn't see.
He handed her a hair band that was on his wrist as he started up the bike, Katara put her hair in a low bun and grabbed her helmet.
She got on the back as Zuko put his helmet on as well and handed her his backpack to save room between them and she could hang on better. She squeezed the air out of him as her arms were wrapped around his diaphragm, he grunted and glared. Immediately speeding off so she screamed and hung on. Both of them smiling a little missing what they almost lost two weeks ago.
