Bread, milk, toilet paper, fox food, and... what was it? Ugh I forgot. I walk through the grocery store trying to remember what else I was going to get. I take put my phone to text my brother what else we needed.
"Get down!" I hear someone from another isle over. I do as the person says "demon!!" Someone else shouts.
The whole store goes silent. It feels like I'm the only one here. I see other people in the same isle laying and covering their heads. I think for a second that maybe it was a false alarm.
CRASH.
The whole building shakes. Gun shots and talking is heard. I peek around the corner where a bunch of exorcist are fight the demon. I notice yukio in front of the demon. It's a giant wolf looking thing with knife sharp claws and teeth strong enough to bite through a diamond.
It snaps its jaws in Hope's to scare the exorcist. It fails. It jumps around as it continues to get attacked flailing in Hope's to hurt someone. I then jumps at the exorcist teeth bared in rage. A hand closes around my upper arm. "Come on. Get out of here" rin pulls to my feet and points to where other people are running out of an emergency exit. I don't hesitate, running to the door with all my strength.
Sharp teeth around my leg I cry out in pain. I look down to see a smaller version of the demon. I try to kick it off but it bites harder. I move my leg and kick the wall making the demon yelp in pain as it's back collides with wall. I move quickly darting out the door and running from the store. I finally get home and go to the bathroom to get a first aid kit.
I roll my pant leg up reveling a giant open wound where the little demon had bit me. How does something the size of an ordinary house cat make such a big gash. I disinfect it wincing at how much it stings. It may hurt but I don't want it to get infected. I wrap a bandage around and stand up. It hurts as the same amount it did as I was running home.
My brother comes barreling down the stairs. "Did you see the news?" He ask. He holds his phone in my face. A clip of the giant demon wrecking the store pops up on the screen. "Actually, I lived it" i say, pointing to my leg.
He gasp and starts check me for more wounds. "I'm fine" I tell him, "besides, my leg and a little fear, I'm okay"
It's short, but it's better than nothing. Love you<3
