Episode 64: Unexpected Guests

Episode 64: U n e x p e c t e d  G u e s t s 

The mood in the mansion could've frozen hell itself. 

As soon as Sera and Aiko walked in, laughing and mumbling things to each other, four pairs of eyes locked on them. Upon realizing this, they both stopped talking and stood alert.

"Can we help you?" Sera lifted a brow. 

"You have some nerve--" V immediately stood up from the couch but before he could continue Hanul quickly held him back from his wrist. 

"Hey guys!" She stood up instead, placing on a gentle smile. "Where were you?" 

"Mom! We went somewhere really fun. Apparently, there's this place called the amusement park and there are really big rides and scary houses--"

"And who said you can go anywhere with her?" V cut him off. Slowly, Aiko's smile faded down and his eyes glared down into the floor with animosity. 

"We were just outside having some fun for a change of setting. There's no need for you to feel so hostile and ruin the mood." Sera grabbed Aiko's arm and stood up for his defense. 

It drove V mad. Seeing her hands snake and curl around him was enough to spark a very thin aura of orange flame. 

"Hey," Pride suddenly spoke up, his eyes looking quite serious for a change. "Did you know about her being here too?" Sera narrowed her eyes at his cryptic question.

"What exactly is going on..." she glanced around the room one more time. 

"Well," Hanul cleared her throat and looked behind her, "you might as well come out from there now."

Sera's hands slipped off from Aiko's arms, falling limply to her side. Her eyes widened and her jaw clenched down as Solmi appeared from behind the column. She stood ahead, arms crossed and eyes focused on the girl. 

"Hey, long time no--" 

Right as Sera's fist was about to crash into Solmi's face, Pride's hand closed around it, trembling in place to hold back the powerful gust she released. He widened his eyes at Sera with a look of both surprise and warning. 

"WHY ARE YOU HERE?!" Sera screamed at her in tears. Solmi raised a neutral brow and looked her in the eyes dead-on. 

"To take you back with me." 

Aiko's brows twitched together at Solmi's sudden announcement. 

Sera's head swung over to Jin who was uncharacteristically quiet and barely looking anyone in the eye as he leaned against the wall on the far corner. 

"No." Sera scoffed, taking a step back. "Why should I go back with you, bitch."

"If you don't watch your dirty mouth then I'll make sure you never use it again, girl." Pride's eyes raged blue. 

"Pride." Solmi stepped to his side, pulling him back. "It's okay, I got this." She let out a sigh and ran a hand through her hair. "Sera, do you want to go somewhere privately to discuss things or should we continue bickering--"

"I'm not going anywhere with you!!" Sera shook her head, her hands quickly wiping away the tears as soon as they came out of her eyes. "I'm never going to trust you again. Never!" 

"And here I was hoping that after all these years you'd mature and get rid of your childish habits. Looks like they've spoiled you too much here." Solmi frowned.

"Fuck you!" Sera pointed at her with spite. "You think you have the right to judge me after abandoning me for all these fucking years?! Ever since you left me there wasn't a day where I wished and prayed for your death! You don't have any right to appear out of the blue and talk to me like you're my fucking guardian! Go to hell, bitch!! JUST GET OUT OF MY LI--"
