10. Day 22

"YAAHH WHO FORGOT TO SET THE ALARM LAST NIGHT?" Lia screamed herself awake along with the rest of dorm room, hopping out of bed and scrambling to the bathroom for a quick shower. It was another Monday, the most hated day of the week. Well, everybody hates Mondays.

"ARGH What time is it?" Yuna who was her roommate grumbled, rolling off her bed to zombie-run to the kitchen and start preparing breakfast for everyone. A simple one of five bowls of Post's Corn Flight cereal and milk. Yeah, they ate like kids when circumstances like this happens, which was when the alarm does not go off because all of the members forgot to turn all of them on.

Yeji and Chaeryeong rushed out of their rooms half-panicked and got to work, speed-preparing everybody's clothes and bags for the day ahead. Ryujin sprinted to the kitchen after washing her face to take her bowl of cereal to her room and eat while doing her hair and make up. Yes, Ryujin was a tomboy but they all needed at least a layer of cushioning and lip gloss to look like an idol athlete. Which means prettier than everybody else. Then she realised she forgot to brush her teeth.

"It's 7 o'clock plus 12 minutes," Ryujin shouted from inside her bedroom. Then she gulped down the rest of her cereal, taking turns with Lia to carefully clean her mouth without rinsing off as much of her make up as she could.

"Omo, thank JYP that Lia miraculously woke up," Chaeryeong said, "I would never expect Lia to suddenly wake us up."

"We must be so tired, especially because of yesterday night's V-live," Yuna added, shoving her cereal inside her mouth inelegantly. Yes, even the prettiest human beings do ugly things in pressed situations. "And of all of us, Lia was the one that woke us up. I'm so sorry I forgot to turn the alarm on, eonnie."

"That's okay because it had already happened—and was quite predictable," Lia said patiently, then she poured the cereal and milk into a water bottle after she got her uniform on tidily and applied a hint of lip tint. "But what is not okay, Yuna, is that it would've been faster if you had packed our breakfast in water bottles and dropped breath mints in our backpack pockets so that we could eat in the bus and freshen up before school with the candy. It would take an extra 5 minutes to eat this now, you know?"

"Shoot!" Yuna face-palmed and raced Yeji to the bathroom when she noticed that it was no longer occupied by Ryujin who was already half-ready. Yuna got there first to Yeji's dismay. 

Meanwhile, Chaeryeong had copied Lia and moved Yeji's and her breakfast into more portable containers, putting in a square of bubble gum inside each of the member's backpacks.

The girls did their morning routines in the most peculiar order, some brushing their teeth before breakfast, doing make up before putting on uniform, putting on uniform before brushing teeth and doing skincare (resulting in some wet patches on their clothes) and they all went havoc. Ryujin and Lia ended up being the first to be ready to run to the bus stop to catch their rides. But Ryujin felt that she forgot to do something...

Ah, never mind. If I forgot it, it must've not been that important, she thought.

Ryujin stopped the bus before it could close its doors and leave for Hanlim.

Chaeryeong... was still flailing around through the campus secret shortcut halls to get to the bus stop.

The bus for SOPA tailed Hanlim's bus, and Lia got inside. But she noticed something weird.

"Chaeryeong? What are you dong in the SOPA school bus?"

"Oops-"

The bus had already started moving and it even left the street. 

"Ahh! Lia-eonnie, what should I do?" Chaeryeong stuttered worriedly. It must have been very stressful if someone as cool and savage as Chaery broke a sweat over something.
