Hi guys! Welcome to another chapter :)
Emma Parkers
After lunchtime was finished, Jacob was still not back from the bathroom. I started to worry and decided to check by the boys bathroom before heading to Science class.
I walked into the boys toilet's hallway and peaked the door open. I saw Jacob standing in the bathroom with his palms leaning against the sink.
"Jacob?" I said softly. He flinched in fright, not expecting me to be there,
"Yeah?" He said lowly.
"Are you alright?" I questioned.
"Uh, yeah just uh.. I'll be out soon."
"Lunch is over. You should start heading to class." I gestured.
"Oh, uh okay. Um, I'll get to class in a minute." He replied.
"Alright, I'm here if you need me.." I assured him as I crept the boys toilet door back shut.
Somethings off.
***
It's was 4:00pm and I had finished classes for the day.
I entered my dorm room, and of course Avery, Alex and Liam were sitting on mine and Avery's beds.
"Hey." I greeted.
"Em, come sit." Avery suggested as she patted down on a spot next to her.
"Thanks but, I won't be staying long." I made up on the spot. Jacob wasn't with them and it made me worry. I had to find him and see if he's okay.
"You just got here." Avery winced.
"I'm a busy woman." I joked.
"I'll be back guys." I added.
"Aww." Liam sighed.
"I'll be back in like 10 minutes." I assured Liam was a fluttery smile.
I left the dorm after entering 2 minutes before. I felt bad but I was too worried about Jacob.
I made my way down to the boys dorm rooms and knocked on his room door.
The door swung open after I had knocked multiple times.
"Hey Jacob."
"Oh.. uh hi." He stammered.
"May I talk to you for a second?" I asked.
"Um, sure. Come in."
I walked into his room as he shut the door behind me. A strong scent of teenage boy clouded the room.
"So uh, I'm a bit worried about you." I said, getting straight to the point.
"Why?" He responded flatly. Uncomfortable was all over his body language.
"Well uh, you spent most of lunch in the bathroom.. and you were super quiet in the cafeteria." I explained.
"I guess I should just say it." He exhaled.
"Say what?"
"Well, I haven't properly realised until a few days ago.." He stammered.
He silently took a second to compose the right words to say.
"Emma, I'm gay."
My heart jumped by surprise. He certainly didn't let it onto me he was gay.
Tears formed in his eyes as I soon noticed and took him into a warm and tight embrace. I looked up at him and smiled.
"It's nothing to be ashamed of." I assured him softly. He smiled back as tears rolled down his cheeks. His mouth started to quiver.
"I-I. I don't want to tell my father." He stuttered.
"It's okay! You don't need to rush."
"No but Emma.. t-that's the thing! I do."
"What do you mean?"
"Father is forcing me to go on this stupid annual date. He thinks if I keep meeting new women, I'll find the one." He choked.
God I felt terrible for him.
"I don't want to pretend I'm interested Emma! I hate the thought of leading someone on like that." He cried.
"W-what d-do I do?!" He stuttered.
"Tell your dad your gay. If he doesn't accept the way you are then what kind of dad would that make him? Certainly not a parent worthy of you as their son!"
"Yeah. Y-you're right." He sighed. "I'll tell him tomorrow."
"I'm so proud of you Jacob." I smiled. He gave me a weak smile back and wiped his tears off of his face.
To be continued..
