The rules of the unruled city

The lawless port city of Bilgewater is known for the hunting and harvesting of sea monsters , people are used to being sailors, fishermen, harpooners and so on, to that, Pyke was no different,  Pyke is just another fisherman, another harpooner, another man. Pyke spent his youth without his mother, she had been killed by a thug a few days after his birth, Pyke only had his father. Pyke's father called him "Pyke" , naming him after a long forgotten legend. Pyke never questioned his father, to Pyke, his father was a wise man, a man with knowledge, so Pyke did whatever his father asked without hesitation, Pyke would grow up like any other Bilgewater kid, either by learning how to fish and selling fish at the docks, or by being a worker to fishing cres for some coins, cleaning up already caught bigger fish than a boy with a fishing rod could ever catch. Pyke would always bow before captains , because captains were ruling the lawless city of Bilgewater, one day, a captain was so strong in manpower he was ruling by himself, his name was Gankplank.
