"Tsuki!!!" A ball of fur shouted as I was headed down the path to see the alpha. It barreled into me knocking me over. Letting out a bark of laughter I ruffled the pup's fur and knocked him to his side with a nudge. "Where're you going Tsuki?"
"To go see Kawa. He has something he wants me to do," My name is Ketsueki Tsuki, I am a human female but have been raised by animals since my parents abandoned me at the age of five. I have a knack for figureing things out in an instant and it made my parents and the villege I was in uncomfortable and so they shunned me. I interact with the humans of the villege but only when I need clothes or something I can not find on my own. They look at me and speak to me as little as possible so I do the same to them. I can talk to any animal in their own language and have been taught to use all the chakra elements flawlessly.
"Aw, you mean you can't play?" The grey furred pup whined his head tilting in a mixture of sorrow and confusion.
"I'm afraid not today Soyokaze," I continued walking down the path, the pup having run off into the forest. After a moment or two a wolf that appeared blue in color stepped into my path. I bowed to it, "Kawa-sama."
"Ketsu," he bowed his head. "You are to become a ninja. You are to find an elusive group named Akatsuki and join them."
"Understood Kawa-sama. But what do I tell them?" The wolf just looked at me with his impassive eyes for a second.
"The truth my honored pup," he replied while disappearing back into the forest. Looks like I would have to do some tracking. I only knew of one who was present within their ranks thanks to the ravens. I let out a small howl to see if any were around and one came to my call.
"I'm to join Akatsuki by order of Kawa of the mist stalker pack," I told the bird. It dropped a necklace onto the ground in front of me, it was silver with an entrancing eye etched into a pendent of a wolfs paw print. "What is this for?"
"The power of a pack is ever shifting. As the moon calls to your blood this pendent calls to all those who align themselves with you," it replied. I knew it meant that it would both signify my will and let my pack, my family, know who I was if I ever returned. Ravens loved to speak in cryptic messages. It then flew off, showing me the way I was to go.
"Tsuki," a fox padded up to me just a few meters from where the raven had lead me. Kappatsuna was his name. "I am to be your companion on your task."
Nodding at the fox I headed up to the two men in Akatsuki cloaks ahead.
