y/n pov:
it was my first day at aoba johsai i'm a second year i was forced to changed schools because at my old school (nekoma) i got expelled for missing too much school , the reason i skipped school all the time was because i hated the atmosphere there.

everyone there was so hateful and rude especially the girls there , they all borderline bullied me when i did go to school i never told anyone bc i knew they wouldn't believe me so my parents moved us from tokyo to the miyagi prefecture. when i walked into school that first day i could tell i would like it here the atmosphere felt so much different from nekoma i could tell i would have friends and maybe even have some great opportunities.

as i head to the office to get my schedule they tell me im in class 1-A which is the hardest class because even though i skipped school i was still a very smart student and still got all my work done. as i walk into class i survey the options and choose to sit in the seat closest to the window as well as all the way to the back to avoid people because even though it feels different here i want to be weary so i don't end up like i did at Nekoma

I start to listen to my favorite playlist and wait for the teacher to come in, i was the first to come in class, at the point students start pouring in the classes most start to crowd around my desk to introduce themselves to be honest i don't remember any of their names except two really pretty girls and their names were aone fujioki and aiko sato

                                  𝑇𝐼𝑀𝐸 𝑆𝐾𝐼𝑃 :
it's lunchtime, aiko , aone and i all head to the cafeteria on the way there we pass a group of girls kinda fangirling and i look at my two new friends confused as to what's wrong they both look at me wide eyed and say simultaneously "youve never heard of toruu oikawa" i said "no who is that" they say sarcastically "he's only the hottest guy in and school and the boys volleyball captain" then i say "i mean yeah he's attractive but i wouldn't say the hottest guy in school" then as i say that as if on cue i lock eyes with the supposed "hottest guy in school" and start walking over when he does he does his idiotic smug smirk and says "well arent you a little cutie are you new?" i say "i am, why do you care" at this point i start to get a little irritated because i can feel his little fan girls drilling holes into the back of my neck after that he can tell i'm annoyed and says "why don't you come to my volleyball practice after school cutie" i simply and walk away in slight embarrassment as i realize everyone watched our little interactions I barely know where my class is located why would i know where the gym is, while my two new friends and i are walking aone stops and says we should exchange numbers to keep in touch after schools.

3rd person pov:
after the two girls tell y/n where the gym is she walks in as soon as oikawa serves and he sees her standing in the doorway and he runs to her "iwa-chan~ this is the girl i was telling you about she's so cute isn't she"  iwaizumi looks at y/n and says "yes she is really pretty" you finally find the right words and speak up to say "oikawa-kun why did you ask me to come here" oikawa looks at you and says " well cutie i'm glad you asked i want you to be our new manager" you look at him horrified because yes you used to play volleyball and you still love the sport but you never thought you'd be qualified to be the manager of a team you look at him and state " and why would i do that oikawa-kun"  with a dumbfounded look on his face he pauses because he's used to girls going with everything he asks of them

"well l/n-chan can you please please pretty please be our manager" you roll your eyes and cross your arms " fine i'll be your stupid manager just tell me where your coach is so i can talk to him" after talking with the coach you got the manager position they told you that you should be getting your jacket in a week and or so and you don't have to come to today's practice and with that you head home and try to ignore your parents screaming at each like they always do , you underestimated how tired you were as your eyes felt heavy and you drifting to sleep despite the mind numbing argument about their hatred toward you between ur parents  going on in the background, you think since your parents decided to fuck and have kids they would like you but you thought wrong.
