Chapter 7: New Years Eve.

Dani woke up the next morning to Tony still fast asleep and having taken his shirt off. She rolls over, stretching then rolls back over and lays backdown against his chest and pokes his nose.
"Why do you sleep in so late?" She mumbles and brings his hand up, tracing over the cross tattoo on his wrist.
"It's already eight." She grumbles and pokes his cheeks, squishing his face.

"Dani.." He groans. His voice deep and raspy from sleep. He swats at her hands and rolls over, ending up on top of her.

"You're squishing me now." She grumbles and tickles his sides.

"Daniiiii." He chuckles and squirms then rolls off her and groans.
"Why won't you let me sleep?" He mumbles.
"Also.. I swear I left you here last night and went to a different room?" He mumbles and turns his head to face her.

"You did.." She nods and presses her lips together.
"I woke up in the middle of the night and brought you in here. You almost fell a few times." She nods and sits up a bit, scooting closer to him and plays with his hair lightly.

He hums, closing his eyes again and starts drifting back to sleep. When she notices him falling asleep again she stops and smushes his cheeks, making his lips pucker out.

"Go shower. Cause I wanna show you this place today, okay?" She grins and scratches his scalp lightly.

"What place?" He mumbles.

"It's a breakfast place. You'll love it. It was my favourite when I lived here." She nods.
"I'd come into the city all the time just to have it. Now go." She grins and tickles him.

"Hey!" He jumps up a bit and narrows his eyes at her.

She grins and jumps out the bed.

"You'll loooove it! Now go!" She nods and goes into the bathroom, leaving the door open. She gets undressed and gets in the shower, making the water nice and hot.

"If I don't. I'm drop kicking you for waking me so early." He nods and gets up, stretching and yawns.

"Tony! Before you go. Can you turn my Bluetooth speaker on and come set it on the counter! And play some music on my phone?" She calls from the shower.

"Uhh.. Sure if I can.." He trails off and looks around the room then finds her Beats Pill speaker and turns it on, getting her phone off the night stand and picks one of her recent playlists then brings the speaker into the bathroom, turning the volume up a bit and sets it on the counter. He walks back out and goes to leave the room. He realises he's shirtless then goes to look for his shirt and eventually finds it lost under the blankets. He heads out putting his shirt back on and bumps into her dad on his way out. He finishes pulling his shirt back on.

"Good morning sir.." Tony nods and moves to walk around him.

"Good morning, Tony." Daniel nods and blocks his path.
"Isn't that Dani's room?" He crosses his arms.

Tony glances at the door he just walked out of then back at Daniel and nods.
"Yeah.. it is."

"So why are you leaving her room and putting your shirt back on?" Daniel arches an eyebrow at him.

"I fell asleep in there.. It got hot." Tony nods.
"I haven't said it yet. But I'd like to thank you for letting me stay with you and your family. Even though I wasn't necessarily invited." He nods and offers his hand to Daniel to shake.
