"Mark, you can just drop me by a hotel. I'll be fine on my own."

"What? But why? You can just come with me to my house. You're not safe alone."

"It's Fine. I don't want you to get involved in this mess- "

"I'm a police agent. You can trust me."

I turned my gaze to him as i didn't expect these words.

"Also, if you feel insecure about me, let me tell you that there is someone else who can take good care of you." He said.

"Who?"

"You'll see."

In between the drive, my head started to hurt a little and i felt a bit dizzy. But after some seconds, it came back to normal.

30 Minutes later

We arrived at the mansion, and my jaw dropped due to how beautiful it was. It looked homely. We got out of the car and walked towards the entrance. As we were closing to the door, it opened revealing a girl. She was really pretty but She looked worried. She stood there for a second before running over to mark and hugging him.

I smiled to myself looking at them. She broke the hug and looked over to me. I slightly bowed to her and she did the same.

"Who is she?" She questioned mark while looking at me up and down.

I followed her gaze and looked at myself. And my lips parted due to how messy i looked and because of that I got more nervous. I was about to explain when Mark interrupted.

"I'll explain it to you inside." He held her shoulders and gave her a slight push to go inside but before that, she turned around and came to me.

"Come with me."

I was confused but she grabbed my wrist and pulled me with her inside. I glanced back at mark and he stood there with confused expressions too.

1 Hour Later

I came out all freshened up after the bath. I saw her sitting on the bed with her phone.

"Thank you so much" I said while walking up to her. 

"Its Fine. I'm Anna by the way." She said with a huge smile on her face as she gave her hand.

"I'm Y/n. Nice to meet you" I shook her hand.

After a second, Mark entered the room. 

"Let's talk, now."

We nodded and settled down on the bed. I started explaining everything to them. From our friendship to how it turned into a total disaster. A disaster which can never be recovered. I even told them how i truly felt about these situations. While doing so, i got various types of expressions from Anna indicating that she was totally taken aback by my story. Mark was shocked too. I even told them of how i escaped and ended up on the road infront of Mark. Even more shocking to them was when they got to know about the person behind all this.

After, i was done there was a moment of silence. Anna looked too shocked and taken aback by my words. Suddenly Mark took out a card from his pocket and gave it to me.

"Take This. This is my phone number. If you ever feel like you're in danger, just contact me. It even has my partners number."

"Thank you so much. I owe you my life." I said while taking the card from his hand.

"Hey, its fine. We're here for you." Anna said softly.

"Oh, Look its late now. I think we should go to sleep." Mark chimed in.
