chapter one: booth seats

Nobody's POV:

Ever since Tommy was 3, he'd been living with Phil, Techno, and Wilbur. Their streaming careers were not yet pursued, as Phil had been more caught up with taking care of Wilbur and Techno.

Here's a little rewind, I suppose it'll help you catch up and understand more clearly. 

13 years ago 

Phil was sitting on his couch. He loves reading books to pass time, or to generally calm himself from the stress he had put onto himself by adopting these 3 children. He's not sure why he adopted them. Maybe the fact that they were all.. different, apart from all the other children. Or maybe he's just lonely.

As in different, well.. one was wearing a beanie and playing a small guitar. Somehow he was amazing at it for a 12 year old. 

The next child he adopted was a pig obsessed, brown haired and monotone voiced 8 year old kid who hated everyone else.

And finally, the last one he adopted was a 3 year old kid who had no style (usually people are supposed to dress toddlers cutely, he thought) and blonde hair. Immediately Phil knew he would be a gremlin. He was already pretty loud. 

He looked at the papers and saw their names: the guitar kid- Wilbur, the pig obsessed kid-Techno, and the gremlin child- Tommy.

"Suits them well." Phil thought out loud.

As they aged, it got more easier to take care of these little children. Eventually Phil found out about Minecraft. 

That's when he started to do hardcore streams and videos, eventually getting into the Minecraft fandom fully and dedicating his time to streaming and YouTube.

As his children aged, they were introduced to Minecraft as well. Techno and Wilbur started to make videos on Youtube about Minecraft. Techno was a god at PvP and Wilbur liked to use mods and have fun with his friends. Tommy just sat around and made challenge videos with his friends, such as trying sour candy and posting it on YouTube. Phil thought his account was pretty funny and pretty cringey, but he never told that to his son's face. His brothers made fun of him all the time because of it.

As Tommy turned 14, Wilbur started producing music and writing songs. Everyone was proud of him and encouraged him to continue. Tommy was also in the Minecraft fandom then.

Going towards Tommy's 15th birthday, Tommy began streaming and often streamed 'you laugh you lose' (stealing the idea from Wilbur) and other things like 'one demand, go'. 

He also met a guy named Toby. Or online, known as Tubbo.

He streamed often and made content just like Tommy. They switched for their personal contacts and became friends.

That's also when Phil asked Tubbo if he could adopt him, as well. Not sure why, but strangely Tubbo immediately said yes. 

Tubbo moved in and was introduced to the family. Phil, being proud of himself for being a great dad, was so happy to have another son. 

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention where they lived! 

They live in a small village, or town, in England. Everything is made out of wood and looks like cabins. The restaurants are a very nice aesthetic, with string lights hung all over the town and the night skies being purple and black. Sidewalks light grey, bonfires hosted every day and every season of the year. They live on the hill above the main and busy part of the village. There is a pathway connected downwards and into the big-ish area.
