When I turned 15, I fell into a coma, I was out with some childhood friends and fell and busted my head, ended up in the hospital for a month, when I woke they started doing tests, and found cancer in my brain, at first I was shocked. I didn't know how to react, my father didn't care much, he just threw money at the situation and hoped for the best, but my mother actually cared, she cried and begged for the doctors to help, she tried her best. I did under go a surgery, they removed what they could of the tumor without causing permanent damage.
Since then I just ignored it, I avoided every conversation with my parents, that's why I moved away from them, I never wanted to talk about it. Even now I don't regret it, I didn't want to talk about it with anyone because it was admitting I was dying, and I wasn't ready. I am now though. My parents gave up on the conversation so I can't talk to them, which is fine, because I have you, you're listening to me, so I'm okay. So, if you'd like, I want to tell you my story, as long as it stays between us.
