Reasons why I hate the creepypastas fandom

The fandom

Let me just start off by saying that I do not really hate anybody in the creepypasta fandom. As I am good friends with some creators in the fandom. People who cosplay and make fan art and OCs ECT.

BUT SOME PEOPLE CAN'T GET IT THROUGH THEIR FUCKING HEAD'S THAT CREEPYPASTAS ⚠️ARE⚠️NOT⚠️ REAL.

Now this probably wouldn't be an issue if the fandom itself didn't have a fucking body count and people hadn't actually died because little kids went around believing the shit was actually real.
ever heard of the slenderMan stabbing it's a real thing that happened two girls thought that they were being stalked by him and thought hey we're going to stab our best friend to death because fucking we want to live in slender Mansion.

Which by the way I don't even know where the slender Mansion thing came from but it fucking annoys me for so many different reasons because it's all generic and the same in every fanfic that I've ever fucking read.

There are some people who are really creative with it but unfortunately most are not and it's the same stuff every time.

The laughing Jack murder.
This one probably isn't as well known but I'm going to tell you guys about it. A little girl was begging her father for treatment because she was seeing and hearing things and believed that laughing Jack told her to kill her mother so she did.
Another girl I do believe burnt down her house(with her family inside) because of the same creepypasta. So before you guys go around and say that this stuff is real maybe you should think about it first.

The whole thing just pisses me off and it's dumb in general to believe that this stuff is real. I get that some of the characters might be comforting to you because they may have gone through the same things or are very similar to your personality.

HOWEVER... You have seen what happens whenever we choose to let little kids believe this stuff is real people die and get severely injured.

We do not need more things like the laughing Jack murder or the slenderMan stabbing occurring in the fandom. (I would also like to clarify that I myself am no longer really in the fandom as I have migrated to Slenderverse)

Not only that but a lot of people in the community are unfortunately very toxic towards other creators simply because their OC is better than theirs or something like that (again I am not saying the fandom as a whole but just from what I have seen)

There is even toxicity towards the actual creators of very popular creepypastas such as ticci Toby and others and it sickens me as a creator myself.

I would also like to point out that the slenderverse fandom isn't perfect either.
As some people in it and even one of the creators (Adam Rosner) Can be quite toxic at times as well or problematic.

we shouldn't let these kids believe that these things are real especially if we don't know what kind of mental health treatment they have access to. Or if any at all.

BUT THEN SOME OF THE KIDS IN THE FANDOM REALLY PISS ME OFF AS WELL.

YOU TRY TO TELL THESE LITTLE KIDS THAT CREEPYPASTAS AREN'T REAL BECAUSE OF THE HISTORY THAT THIS FANDOM HAS AND THEY STRAIGHT UP LAUGH BECAUSE THEY THINK IT'S FUNNY.

WELL NEW FLASH MOTHERFUCKERS IT'S NOT THIS FANDOM HAS AN ACTUAL BODY COUNT.

AND YOU KNOW WHAT I'M NOT SORRY IF YOU CAN'T DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN REALITY AND FICTION YOU SHOULD NOT BE ONLINE OR IN ANY OF THESE FANDOMS.
