Prologue :Escape

Past~ Delilah;15 years old

The Elivirian Royal Guards are on my tail. As I run barefoot through the forest, I hear branches snapping behind me. I'm out of breathe and have fallen so many times but I just have to make it to the river. I saw a yellow ribbon tied to the branch of a tree which means I'm close. Then suddenly I tripped on a twig. "Oh shit!"I said as I fell. I started crawling to the nearest bush as they approached with their ESG's.You don't want to get shocked with those. Trust me,I've learned from experience,They hurt like a bitch. My breathe quickened as I realized they were only a few feet away."Where do we get the girl?" one of the guards cackled."Really, how hard is it to get her? I mean she is such a fragile thing."As I looked through the branches, Colonel Rovis was on the ground inspecting my footprints  to track me. "Do NOT underestimate her. She is smart and dangerous. How do you think she escaped 20 guards?" Looking at one of the guards. "Of course she could! No one cares about a little slut, Colonel." Colonel Rovis narrows his eyes toward the guard."20 ELITES." "Oh shit". "yeah ,oh shit dumbass."It's time to attack with the energy I have left. I tackle one of the guard and take the ESG. "Hi Rovis." I blasted it towards them and they flew a few feet. "Bye Rovis.".I drop the ESG and I ran. I can hear the river rushing. Just over the hill, I thought. As I go over the hill, I hear a buzz and then I'm on the ground. "ahhh!" My bodies hurting all over. "You can't get away from me that quickly honey." The Colonel grins. "Grab her. She needs to return alive;and unharmed as possible. I'm going to make a call."The guards came to grab me."I won't let you take me." I slipped through their fingers and was able to turn on 4 ESG's at the same time. I'm even more out of it and can't see straight but I need to keep going. Even with the pain.Even with the loss. Even looking like I got run over. But there's nothing left for me to give. While on the ground, The guards didn't realize I was already on the other side of the river. Right near the portal to Earth. My last hope. Rovis came back and saw his men on the ground with a face of fury realizing that damage was done because they lost me. I only realize then with the gush of wind and pull I feel that the portal was unstable because of the shock of the 4 weapons. I might not live. I don't even fucking care. I'd rather die in the portal than put here."We'll come for you no matter what planet you're on honey."I opened my mouth to reply but stopped as the portal began pulling me towards it and I went in. I could see my home disappear before me. Then,darkness.
