"I swear Donna I'm never going to find a proper major to settle down with, and I'm so stressed I can't even focus on getting anything done." I threw my hands up in exhaustion. I haven't had any sleep and for a college student that was half of my energy.
Me and my best friend Donna sat down by this tree everyday since freshman year. Now look at us two juniors still stuck at Stanford.

"Y/n! You have got to get yourself out of this slump, listen you chose Stanford because law was appealing to you correct?" I nodded my head in agreement. "Then you should keep pushing with law until you know for sure you want to go into something else. You never know for sure until you've had experience."

I placed my head in her lap and sighed. "I need a vacation or something to just get away from homework!" She giggled then gasped, I quickly sat up to make sure she was okay. "What? What's wrong?"

"Kappa Data O is having a huge party tonight! I just got the text!" I rolled over on the ground. I hated college parties , most of all Kappa Os parties. Last time we attended one I woke up with my hair dyed via the dried red paint thrown into it, long story.

"No , no way, I am not going to that! Nothing good ever comes out of that!" Donna pleaded and pleaded. I finally caved. At least I'd get a free drink I supposed.

The old brick house was packed with what looked like hundreds of drunk adolescents. Girls running around and guys following them blindly. Streamers falling off the patios. Red cups all over the ground. Hot sweaty students grinding and dancing up into one another. College parties were truly an art. I laughed at visible representation of what road I could of gone down in college. It made me grateful that I had met Donna.

"Y/n!! Snap out of it, now how do I look?" Donna was wearing a skin tight dark blue dress. Her medium length blonde hair straight as can be.

"You look hot, per the usual now tell me how aweful I look."  I dramatically took a spin. Instead of dressing all glam I tried to stick to my usual outfit, just a bit more elevated.

My normal blue jeans were replaced with black ripped ones, and instead of a band tee, I went for a dark maroon cropped shirt, and on top of it all was a deep red flannel.

"Yknow it wouldn't hurt you to wear a dress every now and then or maybe curl your hair, wear some lipstick?"

I laughed and pushed Donna towards the entrance of the house.

"Never! Now don't leave my side you hear?" She nodded and took my hand. And started to enter the crazy strobe lit room.

The music was so loud! I couldn't even hear donna when she gestured to he removing in a direction of the crowd. Spinning around, I scanned the crowd, looking for her when locked eyes with her she was pulling a random guy upstairs. She flirtatiously waved and sent me a wink. Poor guy.

I attempted to mingle around the party, talking to a few classmates I had. Then attempting to play a round of beer pong while trying to avoid all the handsy frat guys. Eventually I realized that this party was a bust, at least for me. Tapping one more keg for one last cup of free beer and I began to slowly push my way through the crowd.

After about an hour I finally made it to the frat's living room, or at least a room that seemed to have couches. I finally plopped down, my back relaxing into the cushion. As I scanned the room, my eyes locked with one of the same guys from the beer pong table. Somehow in his drunken haze he followed me, and now was in front if me...dancing. He gestured his hand out. I didn't like where this was going.

"Hey you! Come dance with me!!" The shaggy haired boy called out. His hips not stopping thrusting forwards. I nodded no, politely but firm. He didn't  seem to get the message. "Come on baby don't be such a bitch about it." He moved forward grabbing my wrist and another hand stopped him, shoving him away.
