(A/N Hi! This is my first FanFic, sorry if it's bad. Feel free to leave lots of comments, I will read them all! This story follows the demi-god Emma and her best friends Debra and Hans. Please share this with other people if you like it! I will try and update it weekly or every 2 weeks! Also, I own nothing, this all came from the genius mind of Rick Riordan.)

Emma's POV

It was a warm evening in June. I had just gotten to Camp Half-Blood a week ago and I hated it. I had lived an ok life in the mortal world. Now, at Camp Half-Blood, I was all alone. Since I hadn't been claimed yet, I was still in cabin 11. I hadn't talked to anyone there, apart from the head counselor Travis Stoll. He was nice enough, but he was a little much. I met this nice guy named Will Solace, who was really nice and friendly to me.  He, along with his boyfriend Nico, talked to me often enough.

After dinner, we all gathered around the campfire. I had borrowed a book from the Camp library. It was in English, seeing as I could barely read any greek. I don't have dyslexia, which I have been told is rare for a demigod. I felt so out of place there, everyone singing songs a didn't know, laughing with their friends as the fire went from green to purple. I buried my face in my book, trying to block out the noise. I was so angry that I was here, alone, and that everything sucked.

I was just sitting there, minding my own business, when everything went quiet. I heard gasps and, when I looked up, everyone was staring at me. It was like someone had taken my worst nightmare and made it come true. People were staring, talking about me behind the hands to their friends. they were all staring at something above me. Then, when I looked up, I saw a beautiful pink dove floating above me. I saw Chiron bent down on one knee and everyone followed his example. "Hail, Emma Madden, Daughter of Aphrodite, lady of the doves, goddess of love."

When I looked down, I saw that I was wearing a dress. It was purple, with long, elegant sleeves with lace cuffs. I had on a turquoise necklace, and I felt my ear and felt that I was wearing earrings the seemed to match my necklace. My hair was in long french braids with purple ribbons in it. My skin looked perfect and I was wearing makeup. Makeup! I didn't even own makeup. I was wearing these beautiful purple wedges that were getting ruined by the mud. My face got hot with embarrassment at all the people staring at me. Then, I ran.
