Chapter 1. Making friends

A/N - your name is Lizzie. I'm using them/they/she/her for you because we support everyone here but it's easier to use she/her. So if you are whoever you are then of course you may read it as you want to :D

You were chilling on your phone in the lounge when you got a notification saying.
'TommyInnit has followed you!'
"Oh, nice!" You thought.
You went to his account and dmed him. You were already following him so basically now friends. You went to dm him...

You: Hey Tommy! Just coming over to see if you wanna play Minecraft... I might stream in a bit so if you wanna join just text back :)
TommyInnit: Sure! Here is my discord so we can chill and play some games *sends name*
You: ok I have requested, imma message you on there.

As soon as you guys started chatting, he asked if you wanted to call. That was the time you had to explain who you actually were.
TommyInnit: hey wanna call?
You: Um sorry about that...
TommyInnit: oh sorry...
You: Nah you're good... I just haven't explained myself... I am mute. I don't have a voice due to some complications in the past.
TommyInnit: omg I'm so sorry...
You: no it's ok. You didn't know and I'm happy you asked if we could call because I guess I had to tell you at some point :)

A couple of days went past with chatting and playing Minecraft together and you really wanted to hear Tommy for the first time live. You obviously watched his streams but you wanted to hear him, without an audience.

You: Hey Tommy!
TommyInnit: heyyyy Lizzie! how are you? x
You: I'm good thank you, how are you?
TommyInnit: I'm good thanks for asking.
You: good, just wondering wanna call? I have been practicing names with my therapist and I have to surprise you :)
TommyInnit: POG ok imma call you.

You got on a call with Tommy and you showed your new talent. He sounded and explained how proud he was that you accomplished the goal. You started to wonder if you had feelings for him. You thought how cheerful he was, how happy he was for you with the accomplishments, and overall an amazing best friend. You would talk for hours on end every day about random stuff like school and his college... you had to tell him at some point.

TOMMYS POV:
We had a blast together talking both over calls (if they could) and chatting playing Minecraft. I think I am catching feelings for them. But you didn't know how they thought about you. You had to tell them soon

We were on the call for a bit but mostly Lizzie was listening to me.. bless their heart I'm so sorry for what they have to get through.
