The ever growing envy of another love can be so intoxicating. Passion and beauty so captivating of another human. An angel falling for the love in which she can't have.
"Why must my heart desire only her." the hopelessly fallen angel cried upon her knees. Charcoal black sinful tears streamed down her cheeks as her weeping continued.
"M'lady, have you sinned this day?" a panicked whisper came from behind her head from a older and frail woman. The angels shaky hand covered her mouth as she slowly shook her head watching as the woman began to cry.
"Mother Serenity, my faith has been shattered. No longer is my soul as pure as gold and warm as the suns first gaze upon the valley. Please make this burden vanish. My heart aches and screams in agony." wailed the fallen angel in her demise.
Her aged smile slowly formed on mother serenity's face. Moving closer to the fallen angel she reached her hand out placing her thumb against her forehead. A stream of white light began to leave the poor angels body crawling up mother serenity's arm and soon into her mouth.
"It was never meant to be, my child." mother serenity's voice apathetic to the now dying angel. The white light thinned as the angels body began to pale in color. The angels body now gray and hardened, she was now only a statue.
"Another lovely weeping angel for my collection." hummed mother serenity. Touching her hand to the cheek of the fallen angel a frown appeared to return."The ever growing envy of another can be so intoxicating."
