"Are you still looking for a job, Rylee?" Ate Nicole gave me a cup of coffee.

We are currently in Starbucks, waiting for Kuya Rhys and Kuya Rhett to come. It's been a long time since we had a get-together. Gaano na kaya sila katangkad? I remember looking really short beside them! Buti pa si Ate Nics. She's tall for her age.

"Mhm." I sipped on my coffee. "I just graduated from college, Ate." I chuckled.

"I know. Pero you are one of the best. Wala pa talaga job offers?" she asked again. She's really looking out for me.

"There were some. But I doubt they even treat their employees well. I want to start off with a nice environment." I held on to my cup of coffee tightly. It's really tough to look for a job but I've been trying. "Ikaw, Ate? How's work?"

"Omg, and you asked about that? I've been working my ass off and my pay is so small. I like the job naman so 'di ko pa naiisip umalis." she leaned on her chair and sighed.

We were talking for 20 minutes when Kuya Rhys and Kuya Rhett arrived, both wearing black hoodies and jeans. Are they trying to look like twins? Because it's working. They're both built and I heard they do the same workout so that just makes them look more similar.

"RyRy!" Kuya Rhett ran to me and hugged me tight and Kuya Rhys did, too. "Namiss ka namin! Did you get paid already? Treat mo now? Tara ba! Hehe." he winked.

"Kuya Rhett, she doesn't even have a job yet." Ate Nics massaged her head. "But it's my treat! Ano want niyo?" 

Kuya Rhett laughed and messed her hair up with his hand like a puppy.

"Oo tapos mawawalan ka na naman ng pera. You don't even have a car yet. It's been 2 years since you've graduated from college." He scolded her. I laughed at both of them.

"Ayaw mo ng libre?! Okay fine! That just makes it better, anyway." she rolled her eyes and sat again.

Kuya Rhys sat down while Kuya Rhett ordered some drinks and bread. Ate Nics  and Kuya Rhys were talking about their jobs and I just couldn't relate. Why do I have to be the youngest among my cousins? Nakaka out of place. I should look for a job real soon so I could rant too!

"Ano iniisip mo d'yan, Ry?" Kuya Rhys chuckled while looking at my face. Nakasimangot pa ako.

"Nothing.. I just wanted to know how it feels to rant about a job." I smiled.

"What? Are you seriously thinking about that? 'Wag advance, Rylee Rae!" Ate Nics pinched my cheeks.

But I guess this is good too. I feel so loved by my cousins even if...

They included me in their conversation, talking about trips to different countries. They were teasing each other and teased me too. Kuya Rhett walked to our table holding the drinks and bread. It was a fun get-together. We were able to catch up with each other. We just talked and we decided to go home because it's getting late.
