18. Awake

I woke up to somebody moaning and a accent mumbling cuss words.

"J-Jacky?" I whispered.

"Yeah?" He answered.

I threw my arms around him and slammed my lips against his.

"I love you so much!" I mumbled into the kiss.

"I love you too," he mumbled back, "What happened?" He asked as I pulled away.

"You, Aaron, Dannii, and Derek got into a wreck and you went into a coma for two days" I said.

"Are they okay?" he asked as he tried to sit up.

I pushed him back down and told him they were fine.

"Yeah they're fine. You and Aaron got the worst of it. I'm so happy you're awake" I said quietly.

"What's wrong with me?" He asked.

"You broke your right arm and leg, a few ribs, and hit your head really hard" I told him.

"That explains why it hurts" he laughed.

"Do you need anything?" I asked him.

"Painkillers or something" he said.

"Okay I'll be right back" I told him as I got up.

I searched for a nurse and couldn't find one anywhere so I went back to the room. One of the nurses walked out of his room as I walked down the hall.

"There's a buzzer thing" he said.

"That would have been nice to know ten minutes ago" I mumbled.

"This thing is so annoying" he said messing with the gown thing.

"I brought you pajamas" I pulled them out of my bag and brought them over to him.

He looked at the clothes and sighed.

"I need help" he quietly.

I giggled and helped him put his clothes on.

"Thank you" he said.

"I like helping you" I said as I laid down next to him.

"That's good because I have a feeling I'm gonna need a lot of it" he said.

"And I'll be there to do it" I told him.

"There's someone I want you to meet though" I said.

"And who would that be?" He asked.

"His name is Adien. He's such a sweetheart" I said.

"Looks like I have some competition" he joked.

"Ha. Ha. Very funny. He's five" I said.

"Oh. Well what about him?" He asked.

"You'll love him. I'm going to bring him over tomorrow" I said.

"How did you meet him?" Jacky asked.

I told him all I knew about Adien and his past. I told him about Ronnie and me playing with him and me taking him to the zoo and how much he loved wolves. I fell asleep telling Jacky about Adien.

"AW LOOK AT THEM! Hurry Ry! Take a picture!" Somebody yelled, waking me up.

There was a bright flash. I opened my eyes and looked around. Ryan, Ronnie, Juliet, Ron, and Derek were standing around the room watching Jacky and me sleeping.
