Ughh, the dreaded Monday morning. Also the day I will be starting at my new school. Yippie. With my alarm waking me up at 6:00 am, giving me an hour and a half to get ready. School starts at 8:00. I got out of my warm bed and the cold morning air instantly hitting me. I saunter over to the bathroom and take a nice warm shower instantly waking me up. Getting out I picked my outfit for my first day off school inIreland. I picked out a pair of dark wash skinny jeans with a cream colored flowy blouse matching that with a black blazer. As far as shoes go, I pulled on a pair of standard black uggs. I ran down stairs to greet my mom and eat some breakfast. By 7:30 I had to leave the house to walk to school.

Getting to school took me about a 10 minute walk from my new house. I was suddenly startled out of my deep thoughts by a voice behind me.

"hey you!" i looked around me to see if there was anyone else walking around me. But nope! Just me and the kid saying hey. "Me?" I asked slightly pointing at myself.

"Yeah you. I haven't ever seen you walking before, are you new round here?" I was greeted by a short blonde boy with the most piercing and gorgeous blue eyes I have ever seen.

"Erm yeah, I-I just moved here from Ohio on Saturday".

"Figures. You don't have an Irish accent." I giggled a little at his reply but didn't say anything else. "Well im Niall. I live next door to you." Smiling at this, I was kind of happy, I think I made a new friend already! "Im Brooklyn. And it looks like I don't have to walk alone everyday now."

We finally got to school and Niall showed me around school a bit till the first class of the day. I went to the main office to get settled in and collect all my books I would be needing, my schedule and my locker. I headed to my locker and put my stuff away taking the things I need to my first class, maths. To my surprise, Niall was seated up front. At least I knew one person here. I took a seat behind him. "hey there leprechaun!" I guess I startled him a bit. He jumped and turned around, "hey Brookyn! And leprechaun?" he asked confused.

"yep! Your short, cute and irish. Therefore, making you a leprechaun." A crimson red crept up on his cheeks blushing, "y-you think im cute?" he asked still blushing.

"I-I mean erm, I- shh class is starting." Thanking my lucky stars, the teacher walked in.

I had a pretty easy going day, not really talking to many people and at least Niall was in four of my classes, thank god! The last bell of the day rang and I walked to my locker. I jumped when I heard a voice startling me. Niall. "Jesus Christ leprechaun, don't do that! Are you trying to give me a heart attack?!" He laughed at this "Pshhh no! Ready to go home? I'll walk with you."

Niall and I walked home together and exchanged numbers before parting ways and going to our own houses. That was a long day and I am not looking forward to tomorrow! I walked in the house and put my stuff down running up stairs to go skypeSydney.

"BROOKLYN!!!!" Sydney screamed into the camera and I returned to favor. "SYDNEY!!!!" we both died in a fit of laughter. I told her about my day and she had told me how everyone back in Ohio at my old school already misses me and im the talk of the school. Well im glad im not there for that! We talked for about 3 hours straight till I got called down for dinner.

After dinner, I got a text

Niall and I hang out all night until about 11 pm then I had to leave.

Basically, that was my life for the next 3 years. Walk to school with Niall, walk home with Niall, Skype Sydney and then hang out with Niall. Of course I made other friends and I hung out with them too.

You could say Niall is my best friend apart from Sydney who I would get to visit every summer.

Now we are in year ten. Time flies!
