The Cursed King

As it was a bright and shining day, while the sun was still shining it's heat off to earth, and the wind blew away into many faces. The young prince awoken from his slumber and stretched his small arms into the air, looking around his wide and open room. Soon then then his chamberlain, Sugawara Koushi, came walking in and greeted the boy with a warm good morning. The prince mumbled and rubbed his eyes, yawning once again as he said. "Good morning Suga." Sugawara smiled at the boy and carried him out of bed and lightly pushed him to his big closet to change. "Yes yes, good morning Prince Tobio! Now let's get you dressed up for today, it's going to be a big day!" Sugawara said excitedly and closed the closet door, walking back to his bed as he fixed it. Prince Kageyama sighed and started to change into his princely clothing. "What's so good about today?" Kageyama questioned his chamberlain and walked out of the closet dressed up. As Sugawara finished fixing up the young prince's room, he looked at him and smile kindly, walking up to the boy and combed his hair with a spare brush in his pocket. "You'll get to see your good friend's today!" Sugawara said to the prince and continued to comb his bangs. Kageyama looked at him with sparkles in his eyes as he smiled with excitement. "Really?!" He asked Sugawara with a shocked face. Suga smiled again as he stood back up from combing the prince's hair and lightly pushed him out the door. "Yes now come on, we don't want to be late!" Kageyama smiled from hearing that his friends will be visiting him, he stood up and walked out happily as a good prince would do. Sugawara giggled from the princes' funny movements. Soon then after walking through the huge halls, the two finally made it to the main hall. Where the King and Queen were, talking with other royalties. Kageyama looked around for his royal friends anywhere and finally saw them running excitedly to him. "Kageyama!!" His orange headed friend shouted out loud and ran to him, the other two followed the small ginger boy. Kageyama looked at the 3 and gasped with some more excitement and ran towards them as well, the two boys who ran to each other went in for a big hug, adding the other two boys for a group hug. Suga looked at the 4 boys and smiled from their cuteness. "I missed you all!" The freckled boy said and laughed. The tall boy with the glasses smiled slightly and nodded his head agreeing with the freckled boy. The orange headed boy smiled and started to jump and down. Kageyama looked at each one of his friends, to make sure that they were here. "Hinita, Tsukishima, and Yamaguchi!" Kageyama called out as he pointed one by one then laughed. The 3 other boys laughed with Kageyama and started to play around while Sugawara watched them as all their parents' talked with each other.

The 4 boys went out to the castle's garden and walked around as if they were in an adventure in a forest. Kageyama lead the 3 around as they fought with many "creatures/bugs and small animals". Soon then they ran into other group of friend's who were the castles' knights. "Oh Princes'!!" A small boy with a blonde tip yelled out loud and ran to the 4 princes' while another one followed him who was bald. "Nishinoya! Tanaka!" Prince Hinita shouted out loud again and cheered. Nishinoya and Tanaka were guards in training, 1 year older than the 4 princes'. "How come you didn't tell us you guys were visiting Kageyama?!" Nishinoya questioned them and started to jump with Hinita. Yamaguchi smiled at his 2 elder ones and played with his fingers. "Well it was just unexpected!" Yamaguchi answered Nishinoya with a shy tone. Tanaka smiled and started to pat Tsukishima's back. "Woah you grew taller didn't you?!" Tanaka asked Tsukishima and grinned. Tsukishima sighed and pushed him away from his body. "Yeah." Tsukishima replied and fixed his glasses. Tanaka laughed as Noya joined him, later on the other 4 boys joined in. "Hey wait, you guys wanna go to the actual forest?!" Nishinoya questioned them all and had an excited face on him. Tanaka nodded his head as he got excited with his buddy, but then the two young knights heard their names from a special mad someone..."TANAKA! NISHINOYA!" The head leader of the knights called out and came stomping to them. Both of the boys looked at him and started to shake of terror, they ran to him and started to bow as many times as they could. "W-we're sorry Daichi sir!" They apologized. Daichi glared at the two and carried them by the back of their shirts, then looked at the 4 princes'. "Sorry if these two troublemakers caused you royals problems!" Daichi apoliziged to the princes' and walked away with the two boys in his hands. Hinita sniffed his nose and whined. "H-He took away Nishinoya and T-Tanaka!" Hinita said and looked at Yamaguchi was in the same situation as him. Tsukishima laughed a bit and looked at Hinita and Yamaguchi. "They're just causing trouble, besides we're not aloud to go off on our own." Tsukishima said in a cocky way to the two boys. Kageyama had a pout on his face and pointed his stick up towards a direction to the outside. "Let's go check out the outside world!!" Kageyama shouted and took a step being hearing his name being called. "KAGEYAMA!!" Sugawara called out and ran towards him bending his knees down to Kageyama's height. "There you are! You all just left me worried right there!" Suga said with a worried tone and looked at each of the boys making sure they're not hurt or dirty in any way. "No worries Suga! We just played follow the leader!" Hinita said as he spun around, Yamaguchi giggled and nodded his head. Tsukishima slightly nodded his head and turned away crossing his arms. Kageyama pouted and nodded his head as well. "Yeah!!" Sugawara smiled at the boys and looked at the sun setting down. "Looks like it's about time for dinner! Hurry now, we don't want to be late!" Sugawara said and held Kageyama's hand walking back into the castle. "Single file line!" Suga called out, Hinita grabbed onto Kageyama's hand, Yamaguchi grabbed onto Hinita's and Tsukishima held Yamaguchis. They all walked back peacefully back into the castle into the dinning room. They all sat within their families and had their feast together.

Right after dinner, the 3 other royal families left the Kageyama's castle. Kageyama was in his room sitting on his window looking at the bright moon shine. Already into his pjs. Kageyama wondered what the village could be like, he always wondered in a good way..but he always had visions and nightmares about going to the village. It would always have his mother's screams, his fathers words "Don't go out, it's dangerous!", other villagers screaming and running away from him. Kageyama shakes his head to stop thinking about that and looks down with tears. Soon then he heard a knock on his door, he quickly tired wiping his tears away but they kept coming. They soon walked into his room and stood next to him and patted his head, it was his older sister Miwa. She smiled at him and sat next to him giving him a hug while brushing her finger's through his hair. "Shhh, it's going to be okay Tobio.." She quietly whispered to him and smiled softly. Kageyama sniffed many times and held onto his older sister, he mumbled every second with tears running out of his eyes. Miwa calmed Tobio down with soft words from her voice, he closed his eyes and started to become more calm afterwards and fell asleep. Miwa smiled again and carried her small brother to his bed tucking him in and walked out closing the door. Soon then it was now midnight, and small Kageyama had woke up from a small nightmare. "The same visions.." He mumbled to himself going back into his ball formation, soon then he heard some yelling noises coming from the outside. Kageyama quickly opened his window and looked outside, he saw a small girl around his age, running away from a couple of knights. Kageyama watched them in the dark, really couldn't see a thing, but once the clouds moved away from the moon. The moon shined onto the people running, as Kageyama stared the small girl. Everything went in a slow mo, and Kageyama got to see her beautiful and shining face for a quick second before she disappeared away through the thin air. Kageyama had his mouth wide open, what a sight to see. He smiled and laughed at the confused guards then closed his window, then fell back to sleep with a happy face questioning himself. "Who was that girl..?" He thought to himself.. "And will I ever get to see her again..?"

(Time skip!!! Kageyama is now 16.)

Kageyama and his family was in the main hall, as their was a ball coming up today hosted by his parents. Finding Kageyama a special someone to rule the kingdom with him, of course Tobio disagreed with this idea. But he also had no choice. Kageyama looked at himself through the mirror as he walked through the halls. He asked himself if this was really him, was he really going to get married at the age 16?..Soon then Miwa patted his shoulder and smiled. "Guess what! We're going to go check up on the villagers!" She said to him, Kageyama looked at her with a shocked face. "No way, we're going outside the castle walls?!" He asked her and started to get nervous. Miwa chuckled and put her hands behind her back. "Yep!" She replied and continued to walk with Tobio down the hall to the castle gates. They both walked out of the gates and walked to the village, with 2 guards behind them for their safety reasons. Miwa watched the little kids run around together and parents laugh with another, Kageyama also found this exciting accept..something was off..everyone looked at Miwa with smiles while Kageyama felt stares and glares towards him..he shivered a bit then soon felt Miwa's arms around his left one, her face seemed..worried, tho she looked up and smiled at him. Kageyama looked at her confused, tho what was happening..did he not know something?..Tobio shook his head and slightly smiled at the villagers and continued to walk around the village, as their stares haunted him for life...

It was finally time for the ball! The main hall was packed with many other royalties, princes' and princess'. Kageyama just stood in the corner, away from the others, awaiting for his friend's to arrive. That was until a girl quickly walked passed Kageyama, everything went back into a slowmo, Kageyama remembered this moment before, and examined the girl who walked passed him. She was in a white beautiful leaded dress, her beautiful h/c hair was flowing, and her e/c eyes shined and glowed as she took at Kageyama for a quick second before looking away being chased by many other princes' asking for a dance.
