Felicity was released from the hospital the next day. She walked into the Foundry with Oliver holding her hand beside her. She walked up to her computers and turned them on. "Is there anybody on the run?" Felicity asked Diggle. "No. After Mrs. Queen was hospitalized, everybody sat down and watched the news and read the paper for the latest," Diggle smirked. Felicity rolled her eyes. "I'm surprised that they haven't learned about her being discharged," Oliver said, confused. "Wait," Felicity turned on the local news. "Felicity Queen has been discharged from the hospital and is at home, resting. More on the back story coming next," A lady on the news remarked.
Felicity turned to face Oliver and raised her eyebrows. "They don't know yet?" "Wow, news travels fast," Oliver said. "You of all people should know that. When you came back after the Undertaking, the moment you entered Starling City, you were all over the news," Roy said. Oliver nodded. There were footsteps coming down the stairs. Laurel came down to the Foundry. "Felicity, are you okay? You were in the hospital?" "Yeah, I'm fine," Felicity forced a smile. "Okay, good. I just wanted to check up on you. Anyway, I have to go work on a case. I'll see you later," she said to Felicity, ignoring everyone else. "Bye," With that, Felicity's smile turned into a frown.
"You were lying to Laurel," Oliver said with a frown. "What?" Felicity had spaced out. "You know, Felicity, a frown can cover a lot of things, but some things can't be erased that easily. What's going on?" Oliver asked, his hand falling to her cheek. "Nothing. It's just... I have the worst headache and I'm just really tired," Felicity explained. "Then, why'd you make me bring you here?" questioned Oliver. "I don't know," Felicity put her head down. "Let me take you home, Felicity," Oliver gestured towards the stairs. Felicity took a deep breath. She picked her purse up and walked up the stairs into Verdant.
"Oliver," Diggle caught Oliver's attention. Oliver turned to face his friend. "Are you coming back?" he asked. "I don't know. If Felicity feels better then yes. I'll call if I'm staying," With that, Oliver went up the stairs and home with Felicity.
Felicity got home and jumped on the bed. The moment her face hit the pillow, she was out like a light. Oliver smiled and lied down beside her. His eyes slowly closed and he also fell asleep. Oliver woke up with a warm breath on the back of his neck. He slowly turned around and found a copycat archer standing right above him. "Felicity, ru..." Oliver tried to warm Felicity, but he found out that that wasn't possible. Felicity was tranquilized before he woke up. Panic and terror filled his eyes. He tried to fight back, but right as he was about to land a punch, Oliver was shot with a tranquilizer dart and passed out.
