this applies to all characters: you are an English spy sent to fly over Germany for a mission but you were shot down and sent to a prisoner of war camp. (you're a spy so even though you're a woman, you are still a prisoner). You are there before them.
so that means you all meet in the camp and it's just a detailed encounter.
Roger Bartlett
The meeting had started and you had found Collin outside. You both decided to join together, talking about photography and birds. He opened the door to the hut and peeked through, "Sorry we're late Roger"
The squadron leader nodded, "that's quite alright, Collin"
Blithe walked through and you followed after, carrying things you thought useful. The room was suddenly silent at the appearance of a woman. You paid no attention and placed your belongings on the table, unfurling a roll of paper.
"Mac, I trust that you'll find these useful. this is a full schedule of every goon's movements; night and or day"
He was the first to speak up, "I'm sorry, I don't think I've met you, love," he stated, confusion showing in his blue eyes. "no you're right. My name is (y/n)(l/n). I was a spy before I got shot down"
Mac merely nodded along, mouth open slightly as he looked at the papers, "my god, this is brilliant, man! Err... Woman"
Bartlett looked at you with a sceptical lens and continued, "yes, anyway, as I was saying..."
As the meeting ended and people piled out, he caught you, "What do you do here?"
you smirked, "I'm a spy"
He rolled his eyes, "I mean what do you do here"
You let out a short guffaw and state, "I can do a lot. But most I observe things; Pattern, suspicions, I have a critical eye for things like that, you see, captain"
He recomposed himself and smiled slightly, "W-well... erm, great to have you on the team"
Robert Hendley
You could feel the stares on your back as you stood beside Colin, carefully drawing the bird on the chalkboard. He whistled a skilful call of the Nelis warbler and stated, "Now let's move on to this fellow here, who my lovely assistant has so kindly drawn for us," the doors to the hut opened, "ah Hendley, nice of you to join us. have a seat and (y/n) will show you where your drawing supplies are"
You smiled at the older man and nodded, "Sure, Colin". From across the room, the newcomer's eyes widened slightly and he coughed, trying to remain composed.
You stopped at his side and bent down to open the desk up, revealing the supplies needed. He smiled at you and retrieved them, "Thank you, ma'am."
In return, you send him a sweet smile, "it's no trouble, Love"
Virgil Hilts
The heavy metal door to the cooler swung open on its hinges and you jumped up from your spot on the floor to look through the door's grate. You couldn't see who was here from your spot on the end but the two doors closest to you slammed shut, one repeating the action.
soon enough, the repeated sound of something striking the cell walls filled the silence.
"what did you do in the states? Play baseball?" a Scottish accent spoke from down the hall. A short laugh sounded from the one closest to you, "I was in college"
you stayed silent.
"did you study physical education?"
"structural engineering. Say, Ives. How tall are you?"
