"Daddy, this place look's scary, I don't like it." I chuckled taking Rose's hand and bending down in front of her, my back facing our new home.

"There's no need to be frightened Rose, this is our new home, I'm sure you'll love it once were inside. Remember what your Grandmother use to tell you?" She shook her head, her brown pigtails flying around as I sighed, a smile pulling at my face.

" 'Thing's may look big and scary on the outside, but what they hold with in can be the perfect fairy tale of your future.' See, Granny's right Rose no matter how big and scary thing's look, they can hold so much beauty from inside. Come on." Standing up I picked up our suitcase's, walking up to the old Victorian house the big Black door was starting to creek open, as if someone was slowly pulling it open for us from the inside, swallowing thickly I turned to Rose offering her a reassuring smile as we stepped through the door. I've been in this house many times before, it took age's to find the perfect house for us but finally we found the famous 'Romana household.'

This house was utterly mesmerizing, the brown oak wooden stair case to the dangling chandelier that hung right in the middle of the hallway, Rose was already in one of the room's unpacking her pink suitcase while I did the same with mine. The Master bedroom was really something, the double bed was placed in the middle of the room, a big-but simple, pine wardrobe stood high near the fairly big 3 in 1-with Red curtains window that out looked our back garden which was full of Green grass and bushes, a tree that stood as high as the three-story house itself with a Tyre swing, there was a side cabinet next to the bed and a white dressing table in the opposite corner facing the window.

Sighing, I sat at the end of the bed, holding the picture of all three of us, my wife Sarah, Rose and myself. Sarah had the most blondest hair and rosy cheeks, she was perfect to me, but she passed away when Rose turned Six years old. She had been battling breast cancer for two years but right when Rose turned six, Sarah took a turn for the worse.

Shaking my head of the memories I placed the picture on the cabinet and stood up, cracking my back a little and releasing a satisfied grunt.

"I need to clean in here." I mumbled to my self looking around the room as I walked out of the bedroom door.

"Rose! What do you want for dinner?" It was already 7pm by the time I cleaned the whole house spotless, my body ached from the work.

"Chicken nuggets!" Laughing I picked up the 11 year old

"But we had Chicken nuggets last night, and the night before. Any more and we'll turn in to nuggets."    "But daddy I love Chicken nuggets" She pouted.

"Pleasee!" Sighing I shook my head placing her back down on the ground.

"Fine fine, Chicken nugget's it is. So Rose, are you liking the house?" I asked turning around placing the frozen nugget's on the counter
