Serena POV
I silently walked into Cheshire's house again and sat down. He walks over and sits next to me
"What happened mon cheri?" He asked me, his voice full of concern. I looked up at him and sighed
"Well..." I explained what happened prior to this. The more I told, the angrier he got.
"I can't believe he said that!" He yelled angrily, about to run over and beat the shit out of Toby. I lightly put my hand on his and mustered a small smile
"It's ok.. I'm fine....it doesn't matter anyways..it's not like I can change the past anyways" I said quietly.
Cheshire's POV (surprise!! We get to see Cheshire's view of this~)
I don't see why she stopped me. I felt my canines form into fangs and the familiar burn in my left eye. I felt the insanity ready to take over, I was more than willing letting to let myself be over taken by blood lust. I wanted nothing more than to rip Toby's throat out with my teeth.
"Are you sure?" I said, my voice more of a snarl. She squeezed my shoulder and nodded softly. I knew how much she hated seeing the wild side of me, so I calmed down at her touch.
"Fine but if he does anything to hurt your feeling again, his blood is mine." I vowed. I felt her hand reach up and stroke behind my cat ears, a purr soon started to rumble from my throat. Why did she have to know where my favorite petting spot was?
"Calm down, it's fine, really." She reassured with a smile.
Serena POV
After he calmed down a bit, I sighed and looked at the door. Memories of my past stared to flood my think pan (head) as a small frown made its way to my lips.
"I miss my dad......it only he were still here....." I muttered, knowing Cheshire heard me. He sighed and pulled me into a comforting embrace.
"I know, mon cheri....I know." He said quietly, petting my hair comfortingly. I chuckle sadly and look at him
"Hehe I still remember back then....everything was great until that day...." I say reminiscing about our past together. I felt him chuckle as well.
"Indeed it was." He replied. I knew his think pan was wandering back to back then. I giggle a little
"I still remember the day we first met....never knew that we would become so close in such a short time.." I say staring off into space, letting my memories play.
// omg guys I am so sorry not not updating in like forever!!! It's been so hard to find time to meet up with my friend to write this and we still don't have much time. I'm deeply sorry for the long wait and the short chapter. I promise the next one will be much longer. It's going into Serena and Cheshire's past together so bear with me again please.
