Day after day
Year after year
I see you from afar
But I can't see to get near
I see you smile
I see you laugh with others
You shine like the sun
That's why I can't get close
Were from different worlds
Your like the sun
I'm like the moon
We exists together
But we could never be close to each other
I fantasized of you each night
Hoping to be able to say hi
Or even a wave would be nice
Like the moon I hold many secrets
Like the sun everyone draws to you
That's what I truly know
That we could never be
While you smile with someone else
Like you bathe in the sun
I cry in the dark
Sadness overwhelms me
Like I said
You shine in the light
Surrounded by others
While I shed tears
That's why we could never be.
