My Little Buttercup

   Chongyun has been waiting for this night to finally come. It has been years since he's been with his boyfriend, and it was their anniversary. So, tonight, he'll make it special. The light blue haired boy grabbed his phone, opening up at his chats and tapping on the one with Scaramouche's profile. His fingers rapidly tapped at the keyboard, and he then sent his message.

C—"Hey! Are you ready for tonight???"

   It didn't take a few seconds before Scaramouche read the message and already began to respond. Chongyun's eyes lit up, and he soon saw his reply.

S—"Of course. You wanted to meet at the beach tonight, right? Just making sure."

Fingers tapped rapidly again, Chongyun was excited, for sure.

C—"Yeah!! Can't wait to see you :) Love you!! See you in a bit!"

S—"Love you too, we shall meet soon. <3"

   Nodding, he gave the reply a little heart reaction. He then changed chats, a group that consisted of his best friend Xingqiu, Venti, Aether and Zhongli.

C—"Okay guys. I'll be on my way now! Can you start setting everything up?"

The whole chat read his message and began typing their replies.

V—"Gotcha! Me and Zhongli will get the lanterns. Xingqiu made them look really pretty!"

X—"Ah, of course my liege! All the lanterns are ready."

A—"I'll start setting up the picnic area then!"

Z—"Alright son. We hope that it goes well for you. Good luck."

   Chongyun felt happy that his friends and father figure were being extremely supportive of him, and even got to help him for his special night. A happy chuckle came out of him as he typed out his last reply before stuffing his phone into his pocket.

C—"Thank you guys. I should get going!!"

   And he grabbed his crop top hoodie to put it on and adjust the chains, and then got his keys to leave his home and get in the car. The beach wasn't too far for him, fortunately enough. It would take about a 15 minute ride or so, and since he had enough time, he popped a disk into his radio, it only had one song, and he adored this song. So he sang along to it while he drove to the beach.

♫"Surprise, I'm in the same time...

Beneath the same sun..."♪

   He was really vibing along with it, the song would repeat for about 4 times, since he wasn't just singing along to it for no reason...

   Chongyun arrived at the beach soon enough. The sun was already beginning to set, so this was perfect timing. When he got out of the car, he noticed Scaramouche's car parked not so far from his. Grinning, he walked over towards it, and of course, his boyfriend was still inside while playing on his phone. The light blue haired boy tapped at the car window, catching his attention. This earned him a small smile, and Scaramouche would turn off the car and come outside. The two of them hugged each other and shared a small kiss, making Chongyun chuckle a little.

"Did you have to wait too long?"

Scaramouche snickered, flickering his finger lightly at Chongyun's forehead.

"Of course not. I just got here a minute ago."

"Ah, good... Well, shall we walk?"

Chongyun extended one hand towards him, Scaramouche smiled and gladly accepted it while nodding.
