Chapter 1:The Meeting

It was a rainy day, just like any other, but something about this one felt different. Like there was mystery waiting to be found at least that's what I, Y/N L/N thought about today as I moved to Riverdale. Before my brother died due to a car crash he always talked about going to Riverdale. A quiet town where nothing ever happens at least that's what I thought as I was pulling up to the driveway of my uncle Fred's house to live with him and my cousin Archie. Archie always teased me for being three days younger that him saying we were basically twins. I already knew my way around Riverdale as I used to visit quiet frequently when I was younger. As soon as I was finished un-packing I got some shoes on and went to Pop's Chock' lit Shop. When I entered Pop's my eyes found their way to meet pop Tate's then he greets me with a smile "The usual?" Pop Questioned. I smiled before nodding my head in agreement then went and found my self a seat in an empty booth. I took my laptop out of my bag and proceeded to write on my novel only to look up and be startled by the sudden appearance of a familiar looking raven haired boy. " So I heard u were back in town. Y/N you probably don't remember me since we were so little but I'm Jughead your cousin best friend." he said. "Yeah, no, I remember you. You were the one that proposed to me with your beanie when we were six and I said ask me when we're 18 and I'll say yes" I replied. He chuckled at the memory and one of the waitresses brought me my strawberry milkshake with two cherries. Jughead takes one and I take the other we both finish our cherries at the same time and put the stems and seeds on the table. " What're you writing?" He asks gesturing his hand at my laptop. "My novel I'm stuck though" I reply sadly. "You need help?" he asks kindly. "Sure" I say he comes and sits right next to me closely analyzing my laptop. " What are you stuck on. This all looks like a great story?" he asks curiously. "I'm not sure how to finish off this chapter. Do I leave it on a cliffhanger? Or do I end it like a normal chapter?" I say with confusion in my voice as I'm taking a sip of my milkshake. "I say do a cliff hanger the more intriguing u leave the end of a chapter the more they want to read on." He says as he is moving my mousepad to the save button and saving it, then shutting my computer. "Hey what was that for" I say as I notice him looking at me with a smirk. He doesn't respond, he just stares. "You good Juggie?" I ask. He snaps out of his trance " You remember my nickname?" he asks shocked "Of course I do Juggie" I say as my phone screen lights up and its a text from my uncle saying to come home. I tell jughead, pay Pop and walk out. I run home because its dark and I don't like it.
