The next day, I finally had the urge to wake up early because our first day of school begins at about 8 in the morning. It's good that Akira waited for us at the train station so that we'd go all together. At the train, I glanced at my sister, sitting on my right, looking pretty much like her nervous self. Akira on the other hand was just as excited as I am.

"Cherry, aren't you nervous at all?" Kasumi asked with wide eyes with her arms tightly wrapped around my right arm. Yeah, she's nervous all right.

I smiled at her and responded, "Not really, in fact, I feel excited. Plus, I'm happy that the school doesn't have an official uniform, meaning we can wear whatever we want."

Kasumi smiled back and loosened her tight grip on my arm. "I guess. I'll try to be more positive on things like you, sis." She said with a light giggle.

"Just don't dress up like a peacock, okay, Kasumi?" Akira added in a teasing manner, not looking at us when he said that.

I sighed, glaring at Akira as he sat on my left, "Are you trying to say that I'm like a peacock?"

He stared back with a mischievious smile, replying with soft-tone of voice, "Well, you do look like one, dressing up with those colors and wearing those accessories. And I always wondered why you dyed your hair three years ago."

"I thought I already told you, 'to be a great fashion designer, she must re-invent herself for her to make art.' And I really like this color. It's cute." I explained with a bland-tone of voice. I can't believe he forgot, talk about a best friend suffering from amnesia.

Akira turned away with a blank expression, and placed his headphones on. "Yeah, just don't overdo it. Got that, Cherry?" He uttered under his breath before closing his eyes and turning his mp3 player on.

"Psh, yeah, dad." I said in a sarcastic manner, rolling my eyes a bit. I looked at Akira and wondered if he heard me or he just pretended that he didn't hear me since he seemed to be taking a nap while listening to music. Oh well.

Kasumi started to speak in her usual shy manner, twirling the lose strands of hair in front of her eyes before placing her fedora on her head, "Hey, I think he's just worried that some people there might tease you. Not all of them are used to Harajuku and Lolita type of clothing."

A small giggle came out of me and shook my head as I spoke to my sister with confidence, "I really don't mind. If I can't handle criticisms now, how about when I become a fashion designer?"

"Full of confidence as always, sis. That's why I want to be strong like you." Kasumi said with a sincere smile and a nod.

"Oh you, anyways, 10 minutes more and our lives will be different." I said, returning a big smile to my sister.

After a while, we got out of the train station and saw the huge gate of the school after a few paces. It felt amazing just staring at the school. "Amazing..." I sighed with delight, staring dreamily at the school.

Akira's hand waved before my face, and teased with that joker look on his face, "Hey, I think you're saliva's dripping."

I slowly looked at him with unamused eyes and said poking at his forehead, "And I think your brain's malfunctioning."

"That's enough from the both of you. We're gonna be late." Kasumi shushed smiling, pulling my hand as she started to walk ahead, so I followed nodding.

As the we were a few steps from the school's main doors, the three of us noticed mob on our left. "Huh, I wonder what the commotion's about?" I sighed, rubbing the back of my neck.

"Maybe someone famous is studying here." Akira suggested.

"Look, someone's coming out of the mob." Kasumi pointed out.

There, we saw three bodyguards before these two, with the woman holding his hand. The two looked familiar. I've seen the guy's face somewhere but I can't remember where, and as for the woman, she was one of the rookie models from South Korea and seemed to be a lot famous than the other rookie models due to the way she carries her outfits. Ashley Gray's her name, and I heard that she's quite talented in designing as well. The two entered the main doors of the school with the bodyguards trailing behind them as other people from the mob followed them.

"They're gone. I wonder who they were?" Kasumi said curiously, glancing at the both of us.

"The tall woman's Ashley Gray, a Korean model... And the other one, no idea." I replied, crossing my arms.

Akira looked at his watch and said before going ahead of us in a rather fast pace, "What? It's already 7:52, we have to hurry!"

My eyes widened and quickly grabbed my sister's hand, following Akira hastily, "Hey, wait for us!"

It was a relief that we made it just in time. We quickly took our seats at the center row, on the last line in the auditorium. I did notice some staring at me, but I really don't mind. There we could see different kinds of people. Some were Asian, and some were not. This school for arts in Asia's really popular overseas too, as many famous people who are inclined to that type of art graduated here. Now we spent our time, listening to our principal about the different divisions, such as performing, designing, and creating arts.

Here I am, waiting for my time to express myself to everyone.
