Spinning in her chair, Marley let out a small snort as she read through Tommy's tweets. She'll give him this, he's got some balls to talk such smack. She slowed her spins, as she begun to feel the dizziness settle in. Setting her phone down, she bit back the urge to respond again. With Tommy, the bickering would never end. She closed her YouTube tab on her computer and sat up straight, her spine letting out a few cracks as a result. 

Her discord let off a soft few beeps, and she switched it open, reading the messages sent. Tommy, obviously. He clearly was not finished. Rolling her eyes with a small smile, Marley pulled her headset on and leaned back, fidgeting with the rings on her fingers as she answered the call.

"HELLO DICKHEAD!" Tommy chirped as his face popped up, in his usual red and white shirt. He glanced at the screen before returning to whatever he was doing, which was definitely just Minecraft from the way he was smashing on his keyboard.

"Hello tool." She responded, pulling deep for a Bostonian accent. Her mockery of the thick accent was only reserved for when she talked to Tommy, who would always try to mimic it. 

"Is that your way of calling me a hoe?! IM A MINOR." 

"It means 'asshole' but sure, hoe works." Marley cut him off before he could spiral into a fit of insults. 

"Big M, thats really rude. I can't wait till I absolutely obliterate you. My chat thinks this will be an easy win." Awful trash talker.

Leaning forward, Marley rolled her eyes. He's live. "I didn't realize we were making this such a big thing," she giggled, "but I do think I have Techno and Purpled on my side. Tubbo too." She reminded him. 

"That traitor." Tommy scoffed. Marley was sure Tubbo was only siding with her because she constantly plays chess with him. And she sucks at chess. Besides the point, she saw the two British loudmouths as little brothers to her, and doesn't mind losing to them so they can get a few shits and giggles from it.

"That's why he's my favorite." Marley hums, opening up Tommy's stream and watching him as he went strip mining. He was playing on the Dream SMP. Obviously she knew about it, because who didn't at this point. She quite enjoyed the lore behind it, but she wasn't close to some of the big names on the server, and she would never admit how badly she wanted to join. 

A few moments of silence later, and another individual joins the call. Wilbur Soot. The two younger streamers greeted him, one much politer than the other. 

"What the hell is happening on Twitter." Wilbur said, popping his face cam on and continuing to scroll through on his phone. "Why is #tommywinnit and #matchboss trending." Marley let out a laugh at the tags before grabbing her phone. 

"Me and Tommy are fighting. I guess people are picking sides." She explained, scrolling through the tags. Techno sided with her, due to the payment she would be providing. Tubbo also had joined her side, changing his twitter user to "tubboss." To fuel the fire, she changed hers to match the trending tag. Thumbtack had also joined her side. "I didn't expect this to be such a big deal." 

Marley paused her scrolling as she came across a tweet containing #tommywinnit, from GeorgeNotFound.

"Oh fuck!" Marley laughed, reading through the replies of the tweet. She pulled her knees to her chest while in her chair, gnawing on her bottom lip as her thumbs hovered over the keyboard.

"WILBUR!! What the hell??" Marley said, closing her twitter and looking back up at her discord. The boy only laughed and shook his head. Huffing, Marley opened instagram and took a quick photo.

Snickering at the post, she tagged tommyinnit and set her phone down, watching the blonde boy's jaw drop as he let out a few bursts of laughter. 

"This is war, Big M." He said, looking into his camera and shaking his head, trying to control his laughter.

"Tommy, it's not much of a war when one side can't even trash talk." She said, ignoring how her phone rattled and buzzed on the table. One thing was clear about this fight... She needed to win. Sure she let Tommy win some rounds of chess before, but watching such large streamers side against her? This was bigger now. She now had the sudden urge to prove herself, and there would be no mercy on the sixteen year old. 

"Listen here I- wha..." Tommy trailed off, blinking as his eyes scanned his chat. Picking her phone up again, Marley figured out why.
