《9》 A witch's spell

Waking up in the arms of my so called mate felt annoyingly warm and lunala just couldn't be happier. I tried to wiggle out but damn this man has a tight grip
"Going somewhere?"
Oh great now his awake and only an inch away from my face . Not knowing what else to do I shoved him off and quickly left the tent .
After packing our stuff we were on the move again to find Dhalia.
"So how excatly would we find her, wouldn't she be hidden from us "
I waited for clayton to answer but all he did was shrug , great he has no idea , just then a purple light glowed
"Do you see that ?"
"See what serene , all I see are tress and dirt"
"Wait you can't see that glowing purple light "
He stopped suddenly, turned around and looked in the direction that I was in
"Where do you see it? Show me "
Weird. I showed him the way but it seems that I'm the only one that can see it
"What is it clayton ? "
"The colour purple is largely associated with witches so I think what you seeing is their magic "
Why am I able to see it ? Well that's another question for Dhalia. We walked to the purple light right until it forced us to stop almost like a force field .
"How are we going to get through?"
"Well dad always said the one thing powerfull enough to break through a witch's barrier is witch hazel and luckily for us I happen to have some"
He pulled out this brown and purple herb thing from his backpack and started pushing it on the barrier and a second later the purple light turned to dust and disappeared . With the barrier dissapearing we were able to see the house that was hidden and by the house stood a young lady she's maybe a few years older than me .
"Don't be fulled by her looks serene , witch's have a way of deceiving people by disguising themselves, that woman right there is Dhalia and she's a three hundred year old witch "
Three hundred, wow the supernatural world really is amazing . Dhalia then fully turned her attention to us and looked directly at me .
"Ahhh we meet again young Serene"

Dhalia started to walk towards me but the ever protecting clayton stood in front of me
"Don't even think about coming near her"
Boy did he sound angry so before he went all alpha male and try and kill her I grabbed his arm and pulled him  to stand next to me them I spoke to her.
"We have come to question you about the binding spell you cast on me and I suggest you talk or clayton here will get it out of you the hard way "
Okay, hold up where did that come from, I looked at clayton and he has this smile on his face which actually made me smile .
"Well looks like I have no choice,  please come inside but leave the bodyguards outside "
Huh I almost forgot about those guys. The warriors whose names were Sam and Stephen said they will be just outside the door if we needed anything , clayton just nodded at them and we went inside .
I looked around the cabin and it seemed pretty normal , there was alot of herbs and plants around but other than that it looked like a regular cabin.
"Were you expecting cauldrons , potions and broomsticks flying about"
I guess she caught me staring but hey can you blame me . After offering us some tea which clayton rudely declined , Dhalia went straight to it.
"So what exactly would you like to know?"
"Why did you do it ? Why seal my wolf away?what could you possibly gain from it ?"
"The vampires promised me an old and powerful grimore if I did the job so I did"
She grinned an evil grin which made me uneasy and instinctively I moved closer to clayton.
"Why did the Vamps want to seal away my wolf ?"
"They didn't want that wolf of yours ruining their plans "
"What plans ?"
"They want to resurrect the Vampire king and they need your blood to do it"
Clayton stiffend at my side and I knew then that this VampireKing must be a very dangerous person.
"They sealed my wolf away to keep me from fighting them off."
"Yes . If you were a normal werewolf then the spell would not have been necessary. "
"What do you mean normal? What's wrong with me ?"
"Oh nothing's wrong with you dear. You see your wolf is special , she's a direct descendent of the first wolf's created by the moon goddess"
Okay I was confused at this point so I turned to clayton and he was already looking at me . I gave him my best 'explain this before my head explodes ' look and he understood.
"When a child is born in the werewolf community they are gifted with a fully grown wolf , some of us inherit our ancestors wolf's and some get newly created wolf's by the moon goddess. Our wolf's are fully grown when we are born so even as babies they can protect us ."
Okay that makes sense .
"So the vampie's need my blood because of lunala right "
"Yes so you need to becareful . On your 25th birthday you are going to transform and soon the vamps will come for you ."
That shook me to the core, I just found out about my wolf and transforming which sounds scary and now I have to worry about vampires kidnapping me again. I felt a warm hand holding mine , clayton looked at me and instantly I felt myself calming down.
"Don't worry love I won't let them take you away . I'll kill every last one of them if I have to "
I smiled at him making him see that I believed him . We stood up and before we left I turned towards Dhalia
"How exactly did I see your barrier when he couldn't "
"You still have traces of my magic in you so that's how you recognised it.
With that we left for our long journey back home.
