Letters to Mr Hansen

Sending Letters

I am just a simple maid, but the richest man in town fell in love with me and this is the story about how.

"Anna come here right now!" Mrs. Jones screamed so loudly I heard her from the servant's quarters and ran straight to her room. Mrs. Jones is a widow and a wrathful woman; she has become the talk of the town after the mysterious death of her fourth husband. And unfortunately, I am her maid.

"Yes Ma'am?" I said calmy.

"Oh, Hello Anna" she said with a smile on her face "I need a favor from you".

I simply nodded and waited for her to explain further.

"well, I need you to answer Mr. Hansens letters" Mrs. Jones said "oh and make sure he falls in love with me".

I looked at her with doubt and she looked at my back with a deadly face, I was hesitant, but I got the message and went to the kitchen where the collected letters usually stay. I grabbed the top letter which was written "from Jonathan Hansen to Dorothy Jones" I took it and went back to my room. I opened the letter slowly knowing this would go south, I however did read the letter and it said:

16 of December 1886, east England

Dear Dorothy Jones,

I am reaching to you to give my condolences on the death of your husband, I do hope you are doing well and if you need anything write me a letter, I would love to hear from you.

Kindest regards, Jonathan Hansen.

Despite feeling bad about lying to Mr. Hansen I wrote back to him a very well thought letter:

Dear Jonathan Hansen,

Hope everything is well, I am writing back to you to thank you for your condolences even though it is not needed, the death of my husband was peaceful, and he died happy, that is all I care about. Nevertheless, I must ask you a favor, I would appreciate if you came to see me in the beginning of next year. I would ask for you to come now but I do need some time alone.

I hope to hear from you soon.
