The last few weeks of Samantha's fourth year were spent mostly convincing the twins to study for their OWLs while finishing up her last assignments herself. She also had a few examinations, but they were hardly difficult.

Still, Sam studied hard for them, as the overachiever she was.

The two redheads on the other hand, didn't read a word before their tests. Deep down, Sam hadn't expected anything else. A girl could just hope, right?

Afterwards, she reckoned hers went pretty well. She hadn't been worried at all about charms, Care of Magical Creatures and divination. After all, she was quite liked by Hagrid and Flitwick, even though she was a Slytherin.

Divination was not her favourite, but she had chosen it because of her granny. It was her favorite class during her time at Hogwarts, so Sam had to try it out herself. She discovered she had different interests from her grans.

That became even more obvious during the summer after her fourth year, which she spent with the elder lady in Devon.

She was really fond of her grandmother of course, but she was bored more than ever during the first three weeks there.

They played Wizard's chess all day long. Normally the girl was quite fond of the game, but playing with her grans meant getting destroyed each and every time. She had recommended the elder lady to have a competition with the Weasleys, but her granny was never eager to leave her home.

Luckily, she had allowed her granddaughter to visit the twins and their family, who lived not far from them, after the first three weeks of summer.

Sam had always liked the Burrow. It was a bit quirky, just like the inhabitants were. Nonetheless, it was like a second home for her. Especially with all the memories that were made there.

When she arrived at the dangerous looking construction a bright smile fought its way up her face. She dropped her bag and ran over where she knew her friends would be on this lovely day.

When she reached the side of the house their voices already beamed loud throughout the garden.

"Fred you git! I'll hex you mate," Ron's voice was heard after a high shriek.

Fred's laughter filled her ears as she saw Ginny giggle along. The small girl was the first person she saw. She was starting her third year after the summer. Sam had known her since she was only six years old.

She had seen her turn in to this feisty girl and she looked forward to seeing what a strong woman she would become.

Next she turned her gaze to Ron, who was now running after Fred with his wand ready.

Finally she was consumed by the voice she had been longing to hear for the past weeks.

"It is my painful duty to remind you that you're not allowed to use any magic outside school, ickle Ronnikins." he snickered while jogging up to the place where Ginny sat.

His hair had become significantly longer and the grin on his face made Sam swoon. He was wearing a short-sleeved shirt that appeared to be a bit small because of his muscle growth due to quidditch. Sam wasn't complaining though.

His biceps were hugged by the white fabric and his chest looked rather toned. Before she let her eyes linger on his body any longer, she took a look at his face again. His brown eyes were watching his two brothers roll around the grass.

He felt a gaze on him and right before he caught sight of her, Ginny jumped up from beside him and screamed, "Sam!"

There she was, laughing at Ginny who threw her arms around her. She looked beautiful. Yet, she always looked beautiful to George. He went to join the two.
