I was straying inside the forest when I left the barn for a while because I have nothing to do.

The forest is very relaxing. The birds' chirps is comforting.

I lifted my face, letting the light and shadow dance across my skin. The sky is so blue. Bees hummed in and out somewhere inside the forest.

I inhaled its minty smell and continued on, delighting in the sound of my feet sliding through the leaves.

'What a peaceful moment..'

While walking, I heard some noises from the bushes.

I stopped and began to hark.

The noise is going nearer and nearer. 'Oh, christ.' I stepped backward. Shit! It's going to come out!

I'm terrified already so I ran as fast as I can.

But too late! A snake jumped out from the bush and quickly bit my nape!

I immediately tried to fight back to get rid of the snake who's biting my neck.

It's like Im going to pass out in any minute because of the painful sensation.

I spread my wings and tried to get away from being bitten. I did not give up trying to escape until I successfully get away from the viper snake.

Argh! It hurts!

I didn't let the pain control me. To get back in the barn in just a span of time, I run, fly, run and fly until I arrived.

My friend helped me to heal my injured nape whe he saw it.

I cried because of that life and death incident. That was close!

I survived!

I will never stray again!

By the way, I'm a rooster. I survived from a snake attack.
