I never thought much of the mysterious guy that would sit in the back of the class. Well, not until now, after I heard about his past.

Apparently, he used to be quite rowdy and would get in trouble often back in highschool; something that I could never imagine now. I was filled with curiosity, on how or why that person would change so much.

I was trying to pay attention to the teacher, but my attention kept fluctuating again to those thoughts. From what I've seen of him, he was quite popular but didn't seem to care about anything. He would often have that serious look, that would prevent anyone from knowing what was really going on in his head.

Distracted by these thoughts, I averted my eyes towards the back on the class where I knew he stood, wondering if his never-changing look would be the same right now. I fixated my eyes for a few seconds, and saw him scribling something on his notebook, with his hand supporting his chin, clearly bored by the teacher's discourse.

It only took a few seconds, but he seemed to have felt my fixated look. He suddenly looked up and his eyes met mine. He raised his eyebrows like he was wondering why I would be staring so bluntly at him. Embarassed for being caught, I quickly turned my face back to the front.

_____

I was sitting on a bench outside of school, waiting for my friend to finish classes. I've met her back in highschool and even though we ended up on different classes in college, I would still hang out with her at the end of the day. Reason why I didn't particulary had close friends on my own class; It was something I did not think was needed.

I felt a presence next to me and I turned to see who was it. It was that guy from class, Eren.

'Can I sit here?' he asked, calmly.

'Sure' I nodded.

After sitting and staying in silence for a while, he finally spoke again.

'I don't see you getting along with people in class, you allways refuse when they invite you for something after school' he spoke softly 'do you prefer to allways be alone?'

I was surprised he would ask such a personal topic right off the bat.

'Well you allways look so bored when you hang out with people' I teased 'so maybe you're the one who prefers to be left alone?'

I took a glance at him and he was frowning his eyebrows.

'So you've been spying on me'

Confused by his sudden declaration, the only thing that left my mouth was an awkward 'noo...' and turned my face away.

I heard what it looked like a muffled chuckle and I turned to look at him again. What did he come here for? To mock me?

'Alright, alright' he said raising both his hands in an apologist manner 'I've noticed you've stared at me a lot recently and I just wanted to know why' he made a small grin 'did I do something or do you need something from me...?'

I felt the warmth on my cheeks and I looked down. I didn't realise how many times I've looked at him, but I thought he wouldn't notice.

'I don't... need anything' I let out.

'I see' he retorted 'and here I was thinking you were interested in me. And you're quite cute too, what a shame.'

Caugh off guard by his cocky words, I looked at him again and realised his face was much closer to mine than I was expecting. I could see his beautiful teal eyes from up close, staring at mine. I took a glance at his lips, shaped in a mischievous grin.
