You wake up groggily after an almost all nighter, the sun shining through your blinds. You turn away from the blind and get comfortable again. You feel yourself slowly drift back to sleep before you realize something. You jerk up and quickly grab your phone off the counter to check the time, you realized you still had time before work so you let out a sigh of relief. You get up and go along with your morning duties before heading out for the bus. You owned a car but you preferred to ride the bus. As you stepped out of your apartment building something in the corner of your eye captures your attention, you shoot a glance over but only capture a small glance of a red and white tail. You shrug it off as being some cat or something and you continue on with your day.
LATER THAT DAY
It was late afternoon by the time you got back to your apartment building, you took the lift up to your apartment and let yourself in. You put up your keys and slumped down on your couch, you turn the TV onto your favorite show and quickly get up to make some tea. You put the kettle on the stove and turned it on, you were headed back to the couch when you heard a knock on the door.
"Who is it?" You asked.
"Room Service!~" You heard a woman outside say.
"This is an apartment you twat, there is no room service!" You say as you look into the peephole to see who it is.
You look around in the peephole but don't see anybody.
"Hello?" You mutter hoping whover was outside would respond and get into view.
Silence. You open the door and poke your head out, you look both ways down the hall but there is no sight of the assailant. You chalk it up to being a prank and you go back inside. You sit back down on your couch and lay across it to watch your show comfortably. You were sitting there a minute before something on the shelf in the corner of the room catches your eye. It looked like a plush animal but too realistic, it looked more like a cat but it was colored unnaturally and wearing a hat and a little scarf or something. You stared in puzzlement, you sat up and tilted your head. The head of the thing turned to look at you to your horror, you watched as a sinister smile grew on it face reaching from one ear to the other.
"Boo!" It said.
You immediately recognized the voice being from the woman outside your door earlier.
"WHAT THE FUCK?" You scream and you jumped up running into the kitchen.
The creature jumped across the room and landed on your couch before jumping off to chase you on all fours. You reach the pantry and throw open the door just as the creature jumped to attack you, you felt it's body slam against the door and it slide down. You grab your wooden broom and close the door, you looked down to see it looking up at you maliciously before trying to scratch you. You shoot your legs up to avoid it's claws before punting it back into the living room.
"Fuck off you wacky rabid shit!" You yell as you hold the broom as if it was a bat.
"Make me you shit!" It shot back as it got up.
You hear it's growl as it runs and jumps towards you, you swing the broom in time to hit the creature. The thing flies and smacks against a wall before falling to the ground, it's tongue extending shockingly far out of it's mouth.
"Jesus Christ." You mutter as you rest your hands on your knees.
You go to your room and fetch some rope you had in your closet, you come back to the living room and pick up the creature before wrapping it up with rope and tying it up. You sit it down on the couch and you sit down on a chair in your kitchen. A few minutes pass before it wakes back up, shaking it's head and looking around. It's glare stopped at you and it smiled again.
