"...and the last part. Your age and the preferred age of your date preference" Harry read over the last point that he had deliberately left empty.
He had downloaded the most popular dating app - B.D.Y.S., which stands for Blind date with your soulmate. It's not like Harry believed in soulmates. He didn't. But he believed in having a good time and this app promised good time with somebody who has similar interests with you.
Harry had filled in all of his interests and preferences and also gave a small description of his physical appearance. The only thing that baffled him was his age. He didn't want to meet any guy from his school. It wasn't like he was completely in the closet. He thought that he was pretty open with his idea of love is love. But at the same time only girls were falling before his legs and going out their ways to date him; and it just didn't excite him.
So he lied. He lied a little bit. Where he needed to write down 17, he wrote 24. And for his preferences age he choose 24 - 27. Harry smiled as he knew that this wasn't a big deal. It's not like he plans to sleep with anybody on the first date, especially when it's a blind one. And Harry might be popular with girls and he has kissed a lot of people; he actually managed to save his virginity, if someone special comes along. Maybe Harry didn't believe in soulmates, but he sure did believed in finding someone special.
Harry was all types of giddy when three days later he was notified about a match. The notification didn't specify who will he meet; not even his dates age, but Harry didn't care, he knew that he had to go to a nearby arcade. There will be a secluded booth next to bowling alley where he can meet and fall in love with the love of his life. Harry had to chuckle at that. He believed that he will have a fun night, but love? That's a bit too far stretched.
"What should I wear, Lou?" Harry asked his friend while rummaging through his closet. Nothing and Harry really meant nothing felt good enough for this stupid date.
"Chill, mate. You don't even know the bloke." Louis was the only person that truly knew about Harry's love preferences and he was happy that his friend wanted to actually find a relationship, but he didn't trust apps like these. "Maybe he is a serial killer and then it really doesn't matter in what clothes you will die."
Louis chuckled until he was hit straight into the face with Harry's chunky sweater. Harry smirked as he heard Louis mutter fuck you's and what an ass under his nose.
"He might be. But the app clearly said that today I will meet the love of my life." Both boys looked at each other and went full on laughing as Harry continued to look through his clothes. In the end choosing to wear his tightest skinnies and a simple black top with a hoodie on top.
"Well, Harold. I wish you all the luck today!" Louis grinned as he waited for Harry to exit his car. "I want all the juicy details of how you lost your virginity today."
"Oh, sod off prick!" Harry blushed and wished that he had lied to Louis and told him that he in fact had lost his virginity in one of the party's that they went to.
"Love you to, Haz!" Louis smirked and when Harry had closed his cars doors; he rolled down his window. "But honestly, be careful and never do anything that my stupid ass would do. You are the reasonable on of us. Remember that."
"Of course, Louis!" Harry smiled and waved to his friend as he turned his back to him and eyed the all too familiar arcade. He has been here thousand of times, but never has his heart beaten so strong. He has had dates with multiple girls in the same exact building, but why does a blind date excite and scare him so much at the same time? He won't meet the "love of his life". It will be a miracle if he even meets someone that he finds desirable.
