Two Secret Feelings

Chapter 1: A fresh Start

It's December and Stephanie had just moved to California. Her parents were immigrants who moved to the United States for a better life. Stephanie was only about 13 years old when she moved . As she arrives, she notices that life was much more different from Mexico than she thought. Everything was different from the cars, to houses, to even authorities like the police!

"Mija estás emocionada por la nueva casa?" Says Maria Stephanie's mom.

"Ama como voy a saber si todavía no llegamos?" Said Stephanie chuckling.

When they arrive to the new house, Stephanie is very amazed at how big the house is! Her house back in Mexico was very different than from this one. The colors of the house were different; in Mexico, her house was a minty green color. But this house was brown. As we're the other houses in the neighborhood! All of the houses were subtle colors like brown, white maybe a light blue here and there. Another thing she noticed was her surroundings. Here there were many houses packed together and stores were much closer. She was not yet acostomes to this new life.

When she arrives to school, she is immediately greeted by a boy. His name was Alejandro. He was known for being very outgoing and kind. The reason he came out o Stephanie was because a teacher of his had informed him that a new student form Mexico was coming and she wanted him to greet her. So naturally, Alejandro went to greet Stephanie.

"Hola! Me llamo Alejandro es un placer conocerte." He said.

"Hola! Igualmente. Pero quién eres?" She asked.

"Soy un alumno tuyo. Y quise conocerte porque tenemos caos todas las clases juntas." He replied.

"Ah muchas gracias! Pero me da penita por qué aún no te conozco." She said.

"No te preocupes. Bueno vámonos a nuestra primer clase que ya va a empezar!!" He exclaimed.

Alejandro ran and pulled Stephanie's arm with him. Stephanie was confused as to why he was being so kind. Porque es buena gente con logo? Aún no lo conozco? Even though she wondered she felt safe around Alejandro so she follows him.
