×The future×

As snow steadily fell outside, the Cabin was almost silent, the only sounds to be heard being the fire in the fireplace slowly going out, and a cat walking around.

Every state inside the cabin was swiftly asleep- well, that was until a loud crash suddenly woke a person up.

Wyoming, who was the one awoken, quickly jumped out of her bed, and swiftly walked to where the sound was heard. Expecting the worse, she opened a door to one of the bedrooms, and found all of Colorado's stuff laying everywhere.

"Colorado? Again? You know I have guests over!"

Wyoming whispered that somewhat loud.

"I'm sorry. I just wanted to go skiing, did anyone else wake up?"

Colorado, who was buried under his stuff, responded/Whispered to Wyoming.

"No, I don't think so."

"Hey guys."

"Wait- What? Minnesota? You woke up?"

Wyoming, who wasn't expecting Minnesota's response.

By now, Colorado had already cleaned up everything, And was heading towards the door.

"Yeah. I'm a light sleeper."

"Uh, Minnesota?"

"What is is Wyoming? Do you want me to clean the attic? Perhaps clean your car? Maybe I could go into the ceiling and starve."

"Minnesota, that's weird, and you have drawings-

Wyoming could hardly finish her sentence before bursting out laughing.

"Drawings? What do you mean..?"

"You have drawings all over your face...

Wyoming found that hilarious. But Minnesota did not.

Minnesota, showing no emotion, went back to the Basement, where Wisconsin and Michigan were sleeping.

"Uh, Wyoming?"

Wyoming, distracted from the Minnesota event, turned to Colorado.

"Yes?"

"Uh, I tried getting out, so I can go ski, and... uh...  You may want to go check out your front door."

Wyoming went to the Front Door, and sure enough, you couldn't get out. Literally.

There was a snow imprint of the door, and even some snow inside.

"Uh... We have a problem..."

Wyoming shut the front door, and sat on the couch.

"Seriously? On my Birthday? Is this because that one time I spit in California's face? Jeez. Sorry."

Wyoming was somewhat ranting to herself.

"Your awfully calm for someone who just got snowed in. Not to mention, you Invited 4 states. This would've been easier if you taken Georgia's offer for a summer vacati-

"COLORADO! SHUT UP. NOW'S NOT THE TIME."

Colorado shut up after that.

Then, all of the states where woke up. Montana came out of her room, and was also on the couch, while Minnesota came out of the basement, with no drawings on his face, followed by two sad looking states, Michigan and Wisconsin.

"Hey! What's up everyone?"

Michigan, who suddenly popped out of her sad mood, said.

Everyone else was sitting on the couch, besides Wisconsin, because Minnesota was sitting on the couch.

"Uh... We have a problem..."

Wyoming said, slowly.

All those events where to happen.

They where destined to happen. But that's the future. We cant know the future without knowing the past...
