I arrived home early today since I finished my monitorial assignment fast. I greeted mom and went to my room. I took out my notebooks to check each for assignments. A few minutes later, I heard the living room door close loudly. I went out to see what happened.

"I'm home."
"Eunri?"
"Duh, who else." she had a poker face on which made me think that something happened today... something really bad.

Supper was awkward. Everyone was quiet. Even mom, who usually gives a semester worth of lecture. Only the sound of utensils made the session slightly lively.

Suddenly, Eunri stood up, still looking uninterested. Both mom and I looked at her. I bet Nari knows something about this. I should ask her.

I turned off my phone and laid down on my bed. I don't like a moody Eunri in the house. She's surprisingly quiet, and I hate that...

I went in my room and saw the boxes Haruto left here before. I want to open them, but at the same time I don't. I just don't want to feel something that might break me apart.

I sat on my bed and thought about what happened in school.

Haruto looked so relieved when he saw Rima. I hate to admit it, but I felt a tinge of jealousy. For some reason, it brought me to tears when I saw him broken, and I really wanted to help. Well, I guess Rima was the right person to help him. They know each other for so long. And me, I am someone who hates him so much. I don't deserve to help him.

Nari called me and she asked why I was acting a bit off today.

"I am such a horrible person. I don't have the right to help others. I'll just create a bigger problem for them."

"Yow, anyone would appreciate help. Even if you guys are rivals or somethin, if someone needs help, give it. Just letting them know that someone's there for them is enough."

"Bye, thank you."

I thought about her words and I think she's right. I shouldn't be discouraged. I can help him. I will.

I felt so relieved. I smiled and closed my eyes. I can finally sleep...

oh, i'll open those gifts he gave tomorrow too, teehee~
