Overwhelmed

!SPOILERS FOR DCAMU!

(Damian and Rachel are already dating in this) 

no ones pov: 

Its 8pm and the Teen Titans just got back from a long, hard mission, they were all sitting on the couch in silences as Dick switched the Tv channels over and over.

  Out of nowhere Raven broke the silences by clutching her forehead and screeching in pain. Everyone shot up and ran to her aid (this is baste a month after Rachel trapped Trigon in the crystal)she still wasn't used to having him in her head. His voice echoed around in her brain causing her to be in a lot of pain, everyone know this especially her boyfriend, Damian, who was the first by her side. Everyone was trying to calm her down but Damian knows Rachel would only calm down if she was in a quiet area and at the moment it was not quiet, everyone was asking if she was ok, it was overwhelming her. Damian noticed this so he did the first thing he could think of to help his beloved. He stood up, pushing everyone out of his way, lifted his girlfriend up bridal style and took her to his room, she cuddled into his chest and like that she past out in his arms. when he got to his room he laid her down on his soft bed and sat down besides her.

Damian pov:

Rachel still looked in pain so I tried to comfort her by stroking her hair and whispering softly and slowly into her ear. I just sat there looking at my beloveds beautiful face, she looked so cute and calm. After a couple minutes of just staring at her I realized how uncomfortable I was in my blood stained uniform, I got up and grabbed grey sweatpants and a matching hoody. Soon after Rae woke up, she looked worried so I walked back to where she was, I put my arm around her and let her cuddle up to me. I gently rock her in my arms. This when on for 5 minutes till Raven looked up at me,

"Damian, this can't keep happening"

"What do you mean beloved?"

"I mean that I can't keep getting overwhelmed by my dad! what if he does this during a fight! What am I going to do Dami?" 

As she said the last part I see fear in her eyes, I pulled her into a tight hug.  She burred her head in my shoulder as I whisper,

"I don't know beloved but what ever happens just remember you are not by your self, you have the team, you have me"

Rachel pulled away from the hug and smiled and I did the same. 

"Thank you" 

And with that she fell asleep in my arms and I cuddled up to her.
