Ok, this was a homework assignment, and i thought i'd just put it on Wattyy;

The Rainunga Tribe.

In the Rainforest of Winahyat, lies a mythical legend. Deep in the heart of the forest a tall proud tree stands, strong and proud. In the tree, the Rainunga’s goddess’s soul rests, therefore they named this tree, the Tigerray.

It all began when one day, a young girl named Tiger-Lily got lost in the Winahyat forest. Was she afraid? No, strangely, she found the place comforting, she felt a connection, and she felt as if she never wanted to leave. However, as night fell, Tiger-Lily started to feel the chill of the night, her stomach whined for food, and her mind begged for sleep. She started to run through the woods, stumbling over the roots, getting caught in spider webs, until finally, she collapsed, and passed out.

When she finally awoke, she forgot where she was, she concentrated on how comfortable she was, and she felt as if she never wanted to open her eyes. But then all the memories came flooding back to her, she sat bolt upright, and looked around. Animals, thousands and thousands of animals were surrounding her, looking at her, almost as if they were admiring her. Tiger-Lily looked down, and saw that she was on a bed made of thick, soft leaves, and twigs were acting as a bed frame. Her pillow was made up of layers and layers of spider silk, and there was a tray made from leaves, which held dozens of fruits on it. She started at them greedily, and when she was finally content, she bowed her head to the animals. Then, to her surprise, every single animal bowed down to her. Shocked, she arose, and then she realised. This was fate, this was meant to be, and she was destined to be the goddess of the Rainforest. This meant a whole new start, and new language, a new everything! She already knew the language of course, this was hers, she could do whatever she wanted. “Esirra slamina, od ton eb  diafra”. This meant, “Arise animals, do not be afraid.” The language she chose was pretty simple, the words were simply written backwards. Having got the language out of the way, she got to work.

After 30 days, she had named each and every animal, named each part of the forest, named each plant, tree, insect, everything you could think of. After 30 days of hard work, she relaxed, but she realised that she needed people to look after the forest. So, she went to the tree she woke up at when she first arrived, to ask something very special to the spirit. “Oh great wisdom, I have come to ask a favour of you.

The tree whispered back softly, yes my daughter anything for you.

Tiger-Lily asked, “I ask you, could you please send humans here, special ones, too look after all of this?”

“Yes my daughter, but you will have to sacrifice yourself. Your soul will lie with me, in this tree, you will be able to look over everything and everyone.”

Tiger-Lily looked around the beautiful rainforest she had fallen in love with, bowed her head and whispered, “Yes.” Within a flash, she felt herself lifting upwards, up and up, until she couldn’t feel herself anymore. When she opened her eyes, she saw her beautiful forest, but her vision was different, why? Was this right? “Yes my dear, you are with me now, don’t be afraid.”

Tiger-Lily sighed happily. When she next looked out, she saw three people wandering around the forest, looking happy. Tiger-Lily knew she had done the right thing. This was how the tribe began.
