the change

Moving houses is something i'm not unfamiliar with so i wasn't that uncomfortable in the car driving along the highway to Washington. My mom told me we were going to be able to actually stay in Winthrop   for awhile which is something i have been looking forward too, the last time my family was actually settled in a house was when i was probably around seven years old, but its been nine years since then. My dad told me he already registered me in the high school system. Great another year being the "new girl".
We finally got too my new house around 4:27 AM, i couldn't really see the house much but the neighbors porch lights helped me see that the outside of my house looked like it had been painted dark green with white shudders and the front yard was okay it wasn't too big but not too small. My dad left a few hours before me and my mom did so he already got my bed set up in my room which was relieving because the floors of the new house are a gray-ish color in the form of wood planks that did not look comfortable to sleep on. I hung up some of my Lana Del Rey, Frank Ocean and Mother Mother posters but i looked at my phone and i realized it was 5:41 AM. I started to lay down realizing i have my first day of my sophomore year at a new school in the middle of the first quarter which is not so bad.
