I told Ashton he'd have to wait until after dinner as I needed the hour to get ready and unpack.

I rehooked my bra and threw my top over my head before taking a proper look around our hotel room. The bedroom was large and contained a queen sized bed, large wardrobe, a vanity and a television against the wall. There was a little arm chair in the corner too. I unpacked my clothes which took up most if the wardrobe but left enough room for Ash. Then I went into the bathroom and stuck my makeup and cosmetics in a drawer and hopped into the shower. Once I had finished bathing I put on underwear and did my make up and hair. We had twenty minutes until dinner so I quickly put on my dress and waited for Ashton to finish dressing himself.

My dress came to my knees and flowed outwards a tad. It was dark blue in colour and had a diamond halter neck. I paired it with nude heels and a matching nude clutch.

Ashton was squeezing himself into a skinny suit jacket over a white shirt with black buttons. He looked gorgeous.

"Need help?" I giggled, holding his jacket up as he slipped his arms into the sleeves.

"Thanks," I heard his raspy Australian voice say. I turned him around to face me and made our lips meet. We stayed together for a few moments before Ashton intertwined our hands and escorted me to the door.

Simon was waiting for us in the lobby of the hotel which was still eerily still.

"Wow, you too look really stunning," he cooed in awe.

"Thank you, dad," I said, blushing in embarrassment.

It was a short walk to the restaurant. It was at the corner of a street called Covent Garden. I had remembered the walk from previous times I'd been here.

Ashton was in awe of everything. He looked over his shoulder every few seconds to catch a few glimpses of London. I heard him whisper a few 'whoa's a few times for no particular reason but I had to admit that London was so different to New York and probably very different to Sydney to I didn't blame him he loved the sight.

The Ivy was a busy restaurant. It was more like a large bar but for more high-end people. I spotted David and Victoria Beckham having a drink at the east end of the bar, Benedict Cumberbatch near them with a woman I didn't know and Cheryl Cole sipping drinks with some of her friends. Most of the other guests in the bar must have been wealthy.

Simon told a worker that we had a booking and he led us to a table by David and Victoria's. Simon chatted with them before excusing himself to talk to Cheryl briefly.

Ashton pulled out a chair for me and I sat down after thanking him. He sat to my right and held my hand. He smiled, showing his dimples and I giggled at his funny face.

Suddenly, a boy grabbed my shoulders and shook me softly. His face became clear to me and I put my hand over my mouth in shock. Good shock.

"Cody!" I shrieked, hugging the boy.

"Cliff!" He yelled back, squeezing me tight. When our hug was over I gestured for him to sit.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Recording. With Simon actually." Cody nodded.

"Oh my gosh! I can't believe you're here I haven't seen you in forever!" I said, still shocked that Cody was here. I looked over at Ashton, who was sitting awkwardly. "Oh sorry. Ashton, this is my cousin Cody. Cody, this is my boyfriend Ashton." The two shook hands and exchanged a 'hi'.

"How long are you here for?" Cody asked.

"Just a week. We head back on Saturday." I answered.

"Well then you've got to come to Justin's New Year's Eve party." Cody urged.

"Okay, sure. That sounds fun. Where is it?" I asked, grabbing Ashton's hand again.

"Funky Buddha. And you'll be able to drink here so it'll be extra fun." Cody winked.

"Yeah, but you're not." I said sternly.

"Oh c'mon Cliff. I'm almost seventeen. I've had a drink or two before. Plus, I've got a fake ID." Cody smirked.

"No. It's illegal for you to drink and Coke is just as nice." I pouted.

"I won't drink if you buy me all the Coca Cola I want." Cody suggested.

"Fine. I'll see you later." I said as Cody got out of his seat. He hugged me, said goodbye to Ashton and scurried over to his friends.

"You have an Australian cousin?" Ashton assumed, obviously noticing Cody's thick Australian accent.

"Yeah! He's from Gold Coast. Is that near Sydney?" I asked, not knowing my geography.

"No. You can fly to there though. It's about an hour and a half flight. It's not in New South Wales, it's in Queensland. That pretty far away," Ashton told me.

"Oh, cool. Well, are you up for our friends New Year's Eve party? It's in a really nice club a few blocks away."

"Sounds alright." Ashton nodded.

"And we're able to drink too. I love London."

"I thought you were a good girl?" Ashton chuckled.

"Hey, now that I'm allowed to and I'm not breaking the law, I will drink." I retorted, "besides, good girls are bad girls that haven't been caught." I winked at Ashton.

"So he said he's recording with Simon. Does he sing?" Ash asked.

"Yeah, he's got a few pop songs. Have you ever Cody Simpson?"

"I'm not into pop much. Lauren's probably got his face plastered on her bedroom wall. She's really into pop and loves Australian talent. Especially me."

I almost choked when I laughed at Ashton. He was super funny when he was play-cocky.

"Well, maybe you should record together. Two new Australian talents pair up and write an amazing pop rock song." I imagined.

"Sure." Ashton smirked, silently laughing at my wild imagination.

Simon retreated to our table a few moments later. We ordered drinks and talked for a bit until the waiter comes back with our drinks and orders our food. Ashton ordered a steak and fries, as did Simon. I ordered the fillet steak with a mixed salad.

"How are you liking London so far, Ashton?" Simon asked.

"It's amazing. Even though I haven't seen much of it, I can tell it's going to be amazing," Ashton answered happily.

"It is," I agreed. I hadn't been in the city for a few years but had brilliant, happy memories of the place. This was where I spent my X-Factor days with Harry, Liam, Louis, Niall and Zayn. This is where I had made such good friends that I will always be close with.

Our food came quickly and Ashton devoured his steak. I stole a few of his chips too. They were tasty. I are my steak slowly and munched at my salad. I didn't particularly like it but I kept telling myself that it was good for me. I would have much preferred fries.

I refused dessert as the steak had been filling. Ashton did too. He tried to pay the bill, but Simon did not allow him. I know that Ashton wouldn't have been able to afford it either.

Ashton and I strolled back to the hotel hand in hand. Simon walked behind us, mostly on the phone to his work friends. I'd overheard him talking to Julian Bunetta and Dermot O'Leary.

Once inside the hotel, it was almost 11pm. The city's sky was dark but lights lit it up. Ash and I were jet-lagged five hours behind so we wouldn't be able to sleep for about 6 more hours. I knew what we'd do in the meantime.
