chapter 4 : Mess

I slowly  opened my eyes and found myself  laying on the floor , I looked around the empty room ,but it wasn't  so empty after all .

I tried to stand up slowly ,but the heavy  thing that hit me left pain on my back .

After I stood up ,I saw a huge shelf in front of me which had no material  on it , but as I looked a bit higher ,I found a small piece  of  paper which had  had  incripted form of numbers .

There were about 10 numbers written  on the piece of paper, it's  kinda odd to find a small piece of paper on a large shelf .

I stuffed  the paper inside  my  pocket and went back to my room , I layed on the floor  as I got in our room and tried to sleep although I  wasn't  sleepy .

I woke up early  the next morning while yawning  a lot .

Lazily : hey! you're already awake ?
Me : actually I.....,well never mind .

I thought  I should tell lazily about last night, but I will tell her later .

Lazily : what are you waiting for ,let's go!

Lazily held my hands and rushed towards the door, we dashed our way to the main hall and entered,  to my suprise,everyone was already present.

We ate some food and sat on the desks to rest for a while , urgh! ,I really  miss grandma's ginger bread cookies which she used to make every day before the invasion started.

Walter: we are running  out of food.
Tina: I knew it, I warned you this would happen!.

Walter: well ,Half  of us will get some  food from the city ,while the rest stay and watch the hotel

Tina : sure.
Walter  : so any volunteers for the search outside.
Copper:I'm  in
James: me too

Me : I'll come too

Walter : sorry Riley ,but you have a vital injury  which isn't healed yet ,it will make it difficult for you .

Me : b-but
Leo : don't  worry, you'll go next time
Me : ok ,fine!

Lazily: add me then
Walter :so,we are good to go.

I was little mad that I have to stay in the hotel, but I guess they  have a point.

I sat on the desk while watching the others leave, meanwhile Frost sat next to me and started a conversation.

Frost: hey ,I've been meaning to ask you something
Me: sure what is it.
Frost:that room you were talking  about  with Walter .....

Me: yes,room 72 ,it was locked from  the inside!

Frost : it's  not the only room locked.
Me: how? ,last time we checked all rooms except  room 72 were open.

Frost : I guess it was locked after that,but who would  lock a random  door and lose the keys ?

Me :I don't really know ?
Frost: that's weird, does that mean room 81 is locked  from the inside too ?

Me: well,why don't we check out the closed room.

Frost: neh! I'm tired
Me : bu- but, Frost!
Frost: ok fine ,but if we are in trouble remember that this was your  idea .

Me : come on !

We went  upstairs to the 7th floor ,frost kept whining and muttering about weird things ,which was confusing for me.

However ,We eventually finally arrived at room 81

Me : we are here !
Frost: oh! , finally.

I tried to pull the handle to open the door, but the handle was sort of stuck rather than locked.

Me :it's  stuck
Frost: I know
Me: but how??
Frost: I don't know!
