When It All Changed

Part 1

Andy hears it, his mum shouting on him to get up for school. After his dad died everything changed he hardly ate and school was just the worst thing in his life right now. He reluctantly gets out of bed and goes to the bathroom. The doors locked.
Why.
Then it hit him his mum had brought a man home last night. After his dad died his mum had been all over the place going clubbing, online dating and he was completely against it he hated it seeing his mum staggering home drunk after a unsuccessful night with no one willing to take her home but now she found man but Andy new this was another one night stand and was not happy about it.
He goes back to bed waiting for his mums whatever he was to get out of his bathroom. While he is reading a new book he picked up on a shopping trip with his mum a few weeks ago a great find about the second world and what the Jews had to go through. Andy'd best subject was history so he really enjoyed it. As he goes into the ninth chapter his mum comes up the stairs probably to check on her new man but she passes the bathroom and walks into Andy's room and he sees something sparkling on her finger then he realises it an Engagement Ring!. Still in doubt he stands up to confront his mum about her new possession.
